948. mario kart

Rant of the day: Extremely tired...

Maybe we should all stop playing Mario Kart!!! We might get too involved in it like this...

I'm thinking how fast can a real GoKart goes?

947. tired

Rant of the day: I need a new water bottle...

I'm TIRED!!!

After school. Back home. Dinner. Rush 3 office procedures as the deadline is on coming Monday. I can't imagine I'm completing my work again at home.

The thing is that we don't have the luxury of completing office work in office. We've got workshops to run EVERYDAY. We've got tonnes and tonnes of emails to clear. We've got queries to investigate. We've got call back task to call. We've got day-in-day-out admin operations to complete. And then, we've also got such work procedures to review EVERY YEAR!!! And I saw on the procedure that the manager is suppose to review and not us. Do I look like I'm already manager? Maybe the subliminal message is I'm gonna get a promotion soon?

Like real...

Anyway, I'm in need of a new water bottle. See that metal hook portion on my Nike water bottle cap?

Photobucket

I broke it and I'm not sure how I did it!!!

Photobucket

The metal piece is super hard. Some sort of steel kinda material and it just snapped! Was trying to unbuckle it that day in class from my bag and next minute... piak!

Must be effects of gym...

946. fast track

Rant of the day: My office mailbox looks extremely scary this morning after my long break... New email... New email... New email... Urgent email... New email... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is prolly the latest stay in school for project discussion. We left school compound only at around 10.40pm!!! It is like damn fucking late!!! Even the bus-stop has no peeps waiting. Being extremely tired today, decided to take a cab home instead.

And gawd, the cab that came after Sharon's cab was the Toyota Wish cab. Expensive lah. $3.00 base cost. Not only that, everytime the meter jumps, it's $0.20 leap!!! Ouch~~~ But the ride was damn freaking fast. The cabbie was like changing lanes as if it's a rally. Not very safe but thinking that I am really too tired to take a slow ride, it's prolly the first time I appreciate such "reckless" driver.

In less than 20min, I'm safely "delivered" home without a scratch. Phew~~~ And this fast track cost me more than $11. Super duper ouch lah!!!

So now, just completed what I need to do for the project (but it's only part of it... I've got another portion to complete as well tomorrow...) and it's finally time for lalaland... zzzzzzzzz...

Night peeps!

PS: Alot of thoughts over this project but I think it's not exactly appropriate to post here.

945. giant present

Rant of the day: So fast it's work the next day. Sian...

I know I've not been blogging regularly this few days. Busy? Perhaps. Lazy? Definitely!!! Just not sure why I've lost the blogging itch recently. There'd been updates and photos taken but just no urge to show it on blog. Lazy lazy lazy... A blogger need to slack occasionally ya? Hahaha...

Anyway, I'm on leave since Monday till today and it's back to work tomorrow for 1 day! Will be on course on Friday. Nice. Since I've just transferred all the photos into my lappy, might as well post it up here.

The most important event since Saturday till now, is NOT about the $5 I'd won over the mahjong table on dear's cousin (He Yong) 21st birthday buffet. Hahaha... It's gotta be dear's birthday celebration on Sunday. It's the first time in my 26 years, cooking an entire meal for someone. Dear is a big fan over Japanese food. And I'm pretty much a Japanese food lover as well. So, tried my best to wipe up Japanese curry!!!

Photobucket

Good thing is that there are instructions behind the box. Phew~~~ It's damn useful for someone who don't cook anything else but instant noodles ok!!!

1 box cooks for 6 servings. So here is the big pot of stuff that I'd chopped and threw in. Carrots. Onions. Potatoes. Chicken. And most importantly, the right amount of water.

Photobucket

Once it hit the right time, throw in the curry cubes in pieces. Stir and stir over slow heat. Wait for curry to thicken.

Photobucket

And tada!!! Japanese curry with rice!!! Looks good isn't it? Even mum says it's good.

Photobucket

And this simple Japanese curry took me more than 1 hour to cook!!! Gosh!!! But it's not easy for someone who never had home econs lesson hor!!! At least I chopped everything myself and know how to start the fire.

Since I really have no idea how to bake a cake, I have to settle for the instant option -- the microwave ready cake mix. Simply pour in water. Follow the instructions. And you will get a tasty molten cake out almost less than 3 minutes!!! Here's the caramel molten cake I'd done for dear.

Photobucket

There's supposed to be words written in caramel but after the mix puffed up, all the words got covered up. So sad...

Dear making her wish over the mini cake I've made.

Photobucket

She loves the cake. It's really yummilious.

Dear's big bag of present I've gotten for her. Reading the card I'd wrote. I always write a card every year for her. Never the exact same message. Always something different that I wanna let her know.

Photobucket

The extremely large present I'd bought for dear this year. It's pretty heavy as well but it's NOT gold bar!

Photobucket

Here she goes. Starting to unwrap the large box.

Photobucket

Still unwrapping with anticipation. The present is a lil too big for dear to unwrap.

Photobucket

And tada~~~ A huge metal makeup box to store all her makeup barang barang. Interior compartments fully adjustable. Comes with lock.

Photobucket

Not sure if dear is really pleased with this large present but now, she can happily arrange all her makeup stuff nicely in a box. Hope you love this present dear. Muacks!

Happy birthday!!!

(PS: I'm not in the photos because I'm hot, smelly and sweaty after all the cooking.)

944. counting down to friday

Rant of the day: Sian... Wear formal on a Friday... So sad...

Friday... Friday... Friday... I'm counting down to Friday EVERYDAY!!! This shows how dreadful is it to go to work nowadays. I hope I win lottery first prize!!! Hahaha...

Since I'm going on leave 3 days next week, I'll have alot of shit to clear tomorrow.
1) Make sure emails are cleared on time by tomorrow.
2) Remember to send out confirmation email for the workshop participants till Wednesday next week.
3) Prepare the attendance list.
4) Raise the necessary documents for website updates for trial run commencement.
5) Go through the emcee script for IRAS Day.
6) Conduct afternoon workshop.
7) Clear as many internal queries as possible.

It's always like that. Tonnes of stuff to clear before going on leave and when I'm back, tonnes of backlog to follow up. Vicious cycle but can't help...

*sigh*

Anyway, starting to like Ah Mei's (or should I call her 阿密特) new album. Her first Hokkien song in her album!!!

Nice right?

943. a better tomorrow

Rant of the day: My brother is madly hooked onto my WII...

2 days of MC ended damn fast. If only it's 1 week MC... Hahaha... Whatever the case is, I told Ben earlier that my mailbox will look damn scary tomorrow when I open it up. There's gonna be tonnes and tonnes of unread emails in RED!!! AHHHHHHHH...

Plus, just got some news from Joanne on tomorrow's headcount. So discouraging... 1 down for MC... 1 on urgent Family Care Time Off... Nice...

Whatever lah. I can only do what I can within my limits. Look... I only got 2 hands, 2 legs and 1 brain. It is obvious that there is only 1 Eric! So how can 1 Eric do too many people's work? So what if I'm paid to do all these shit known as work in office? It wasn't stated in my job profile that my primary task is to cover other peeps ass when they purposely twang from office right?

*sigh*

Anyway, just back home from school. Sometimes I seriously don't know why the sudden flare when no other peeps understand what's happening either. It's bewildering... Did I say anything wrong? Did someone else say anything wrong? Can clarify anot? Is it a misunderstanding? I simply hate it when I catch no head no tail...

*sigh*

I always believe there's a reason why people learn to communicate. And when I'm doing a mass communication degree but yet I don't understand how things are being communicated over among people, it's frustrating!!! I kinda questioned myself why am I still pursuing this degree when I seriously still having problems understanding people? Maybe I should pursue degree on psychology instead.

Whatever the case is, I just hope for the better and not the worse... Like what everybody else does... Hope for the better tomorrow...

Was chatting with mum earlier and she too hopes for the better tomorrow. During the chat, it sorta reflects importantly on what PM Lee mentioned during the National Day Rally on racial harmony.

I believe PM Lee didn't purposely talk about the importance of racial harmony for nothing. There is a hidden crack amongst all races and religion in Singapore to be honest. But it's just that such stuff is too sensitive to bring it on the table and openly discuss on. We perhaps might have mini chats among our own cliques but to what extend can it do? The answer is... NOTHING. And I believe that is why PM Lee took the opportunity and address this issue on a nation-wide speech, so that everyone can bring the message back and reflect on it.

But unfortunately, how many peeps watched the rally? Honestly, I didn't and I think most peeps were doing something else instead of watching that really really long speech in different languages. So, how many peeps heard that message?

For me, was out for dinner because every single channel is showing the same thing!!! And, I'm really not interested to finish the entire speech. What I do is, read the newspaper the next day lah. They will do the job and summarize everything I need to know. Hahaha... But what about others?

Obviously, peeps in my mum's office didn't get the message. Racisim... The taboo word in her office but the truth is the "racisim" is happening in her office now!!! There you go, a real and live hidden crack that wasn't openly discussed and resolved!!! And I'm pretty sure most offices face the same crack. So well hidden... So taboo... So sensitive... And so, no one wanna talk about it.

I just hope mum's office can quickly resolve their issue fast and work towards a better tomorrow for everyone...

*sigh*

942. sore throat

Rant of the day: Sleep... zzzZZZZzzz...

Who says polyclinic is fast now because of the H1N1? I waited for super long lor!!! But it will also be comparable to my family doctor waiting time.

On the registration slip, it shown 9.41am...

Photobucket

But I reached there at around 9.30am and was given a number to wait for registration. Erm... Ok... Nevermind, I'll wait... Called my number for registration and was directed to room 2. This was at 9.41am.

The whole area was condoned off in a white tentage. So that all the flu syndrome peeps don't clutter in the main polyclinic building. Place is very very crowded. It will be obvious that the flu spread faster in this place even though all patients must wear mask. But look at them and their mask... Not properly worn. Might as well don't wear. And then cough cough cough!!! Wear your mask properly can? Seeing this, the staff also don't bother to "teach" these peeps the proper way of wearing the mask.

So what's the purpose of the mask? Or was it just a procedural request by the gahmen?

I waited and waited and waited. 1 hour passed and my butt was aching after sitting so long on that seriously uncomfortable chair. Room 2 was still attending to peeps in the much much earlier numbers because they were directed by room 2 doctor to get an x-ray done for further examination. But how come room 1 have so lil x-ray cases?

Came up with 2 deductions:
1) The doctor in room 2 is too meticulous and prefer a closer consultation.
2) The doctor in room 1 is too bo chup. Just get over and done with the consultation. Next...

The situation got so bad that while I'm still waiting for my number (203) to be called, room 1 was already attending to patient number 226!!! What the fuck!!! A bit too much right?

If x-ray is at such an unavoidable frequency, I suggest NHG to re-look into their procedure on the consultation flow in the pandemic centres. Because it simply defeats the purpose of setting up this centre and let EVERYONE stay inside for hours!!! Then everyone will cross spread the virus. So crap!!!

One way is to set up a separate room for the x-ray cases. Upon getting orders for the patient to take x-ray, once the patient got the result, proceed to wait in this separate room for further consultation instead of going back to the previous one because it simply clogs up the rest of the crowd. By doing so, the 2 or 3 main consultation rooms can concentrate on clearing the common generic cases. This will ease the crowd in the pandemic centre, leaving the more serious cases to pend for their x-ray result.

Whatever the case is, the room 2 doctor finally attended to me at around 11.30am. And in the room, nothing much happened. All I did was telling the doctor my situation. After some usual examination, she advised the usual as well and off I go. That's all? I told her I've got sore throat and she didn't even examine my throat on the inflammation!!!

Left the room and went to the pharmacy for medicine and payment. And there, wait AGAIN!!! Long queue... There were sooooooo many patients waiting there. Only 3 pharmacists dispensing the medicine and 1 staff at the payment counter. Right...

So all in all, I waited for a good long 3 hours plus. By the time I leave the place, it's around 12.30pm. Totally ridiculous...

What an unpleasent trip to the polyclinic... But it's cheap lah...

941. ion orchard

Rant of the day: *cough cough*

Have you been to Ion Orchard? It's HUGE laa!!! And I'm so happy that Uniqlo is there as well. Supposed to be bigger but due to the poorly arranged shelves, the place seemed much smaller than the outlet at Tampines One. But still, got myself a pair of new jeans and berms.

And one of my favourite place is gotta be B4... Food stores!!! ^^v

Photobucket

Must give these a try... Japanese dango (rice ball)!!!

Photobucket

The dark red is red bean. Purple is Japanese sweet potato. White is cream cheese. Love them all but it's not cheap. 1 stick @ $3.00! 3 sticks for $8.00. Ouch! So expensive...

There's also a super long queue taiyaki store. Taiyaki is those Japanese pancake in the shape of the fish with red bean fillings. Didn't take photo of it but it's not the best I've ate. Tasted the best Hokkaido taiyaki previously at a Japan food fare.

Back track a lil. Nykole bought us Goodwood Park's durian puff!!!

Photobucket

Look at the generous fillings! Slurp... I succumb under the powers of durian. If I'm caught as a hostage, just put durian in front of me and I might just tell everything!!! Hahaha...

Dear brought down some of the luminous stars for walls. Spent a short while earlier to stick'em up. Looks pretty nice on my blue wall.

Photobucket

Nice right? There you will spot my naughty boy lamp and dear's favourite black rabbit on my totally comfy queen-sized bed. And that pink towel is NOT mine... It's dear's towel.

It looks even better when the lights are out.

Photobucket

So who cares if Singapore can't see nice stars like Bintan? I've got stars in my bedroom too. The stars are not that bright lah. Was trying to make the photo clearer but apparently, it enhanced the brightness as well. And the photo is still blur... Crap...

Throat is not feeling good. Think it's pretty sore and dry...

See this...

This is what I call a super fugly woman. She look seriously weird... Matches well with the video as well... Weird stuff.

940. disconnect

Rant of the day: Throat very uncomfortable now..

It's abit late to blog now. In fact, was lying on sofa watching some of the TV re-run just now after my super late dinner. So lazy to switch on my laptop. Was telling Nykole and Sharon earlier that I can survive overseas without Internet. Haha...

*peeved... my Internet keep on DC-ing*

See my point? In a mere 30min, my Internet disconnected 4 times!!! I can really really survive a long holiday without Internet. No Internet is 100% reliable.

Dammit!!! No mood to blog le!!!

939. roar

Rant of the day: I wish I have more time...

A stupid crockroach under my waredrobe. Sprayed lotsa insecticide underneath but it refuse to come out. ROAR!!! I cannot concentrate with that pest in my room!!!

Today is exceptionally busy. When there is something important to churn and the headcount is nicely allocated, that someone will take urgent time off or urgent leave. KNN!!! Really lor, it's damn irritating lor!!! So imagine, I have to run 2 sessions of workshop today. Basically, I've been talking ALOT for more than 5 hours lah!

Not fun hor...

And still, there are many many outstanding emails to clear. Some really really beyond the service level and I have to apologise for that. Because, I really got no time to even check my own mailbox! Not to mention the generic enquires mailbox. And there are still tonnes of cases to clear and referral calls as well? What about confirmation emails to send?

Yet, the management can still dilly dally on when should they hold their fucking meeting!!! We already having serious manpower shortage and they have the fucking mood to ponder should the meeting be postponed or not. And this meeting itself will take away one more staff to take the fucking minutes. Very funny...

Totally a big F for them lah!!!

I've been trying to stay as late as I can to clear whatever I have on hand but it's never completed. The work is never-ending.

Kill me please...

938. cough blood

Rant of the day: Busy busy busy like a robotic bee...

Mum did a rough calculation on the minimum sum I need to set aside in order to pay for the car... A minimum of $150 and this excludes fuel. Just insurance, parking and road tax. Can stab me right in my heart now?

Where to find that money sia??? Dear, we cannot go out and eat good food le. From now on is kopithiam le!!! No more Fish 'n' Co or Ichiban... Not even much on pay day. Because now pay day is debt clearing day. Mobile bill... Credit card bill... Now for the car...

And we still got a Taiwan trip to pay for in December. I can feel my pocket burning real fast. Money is hard to part isn't it?

*cough blood*

When will I tio toto first prize?

Anyway, just had a dinner with Lek Choon, Suyee and Huiying. Sort of a small gathering to do some catching up. The same poly project group mates for 2 years ok!!! Hahaha... Just a simple dinner at MOS Burger. Enjoying every moment of it... =D

This Jamie Kennedy Experiment kickass man!!! Rocks!!!

Ahhhhhhhh... Breathe in... Ahhhhhhhhh...

937. long weekend not long enough

Rant of the day: Need longer break~~~

Damn... The long weekend so short!!! So fast it's already Tuesday and I really dread going back office in the morning. It's like work work and more work... Must hit the gym during lunch. Release stress~~

Over the 3 days, got some stuff done. First, got to JB for seafood. The crabs are good at Taman Sentosa but the fish and crayfish ain't that good. The Hong Kong Cafe in City Square Basement was pretty good and quite inexpensive. Kim Gary... Well, can find the same outlet here in Singapore too. One at Vivocity and the other at Tampines One. Got myself a new knitted vest. Goes well on formal and informal days. Also, a pair of cheap shades for driving. Just top up RM4.10 for a fake Gucci shade case. Haha...

Also, we finally settled for Cerato Forte. Paid. Checked. Ready for COE bidding. After some discussion and lil brother seems pretty satisfied as well. 'Cause it's a new batch, alot of stuff will be included free as well. Leather seats. Reverse sensors. 17" sports rim. Full solar film. Anti-rust coverage. Paint protection. Bluetooth enabled. iPod compatibility. Foldable side mirrors. Leather wrapped interior.

So, the car should be ready for collection in September if all goes well. We forgot to ask for 3M rubber floormat... Haha...

Check this out. It's damn funny!!!

Right. Lifeguard going for toilet break. Everyone out of the pool now!!!

936. buying car

Rant of the day: Hate long distance driving... Shag man...

Why is buying a family car so tough?

'Cause everyone have different concerns. What we finally discussed and narrowed to 2 models, either Kia Cerato Forte or Hyundai i30. But which one is better?

The similarities

While both cars are of different league and class, the both share some common stuff. The engine is the same because Kia is bought over by Hyundai in Korea. But Kia's engine is more advance but still same engine family. It is almost equally spacious in both cars. Plenty of leg room at the passenger area. Boot is pretty spacious as well.

Kia Cerato Forte Advantages

It's cheaper than Hyundai i30 by a hefty $5700! May not seem alot to most peeps but after breaking down the installment and interest, it is quite a huge sum to think about.

The package that is included in the small price is very comprehensive. A 1.6l version SX series with auto gear already comes with 17" sports rim. The sports rim not cheap lor. Also, comes with leather seat, reverse sensor and alot of whatever not. Those additional features that we always ask for free.

Plus, because it's a sedan car, we don't need the extra body kit to pump it up. It's already pretty much ready to see peeps on the street!

All we need to ask for free extras are perhaps free tinted glass, extended labour-free warranty and if possible, higher discount...

Kia Cerato Forte Disadvantages

The engine though is a new and advance version as compared to Hyundai, we can't be sure if it is really better. Ultimately, this car is only launched in February this year. So, too early to give a verdict to the stability of the engine.

The sound-proof is bad. Can hear the engine and the surroundings. Felt a lil low quality.

Steering wheel too light for guys to handle. Can be good as well. Depends on the individual preferences. But it is a lil too light for me. As if don't need to give any strength to it.

Rear is too high. Gives very lil view over the rear mirror.

A lil "uncle" sedan kinda design. Not appealing to the young drivers like my bro and I. Instantly felt 5 years older if I'm the driver. Oh sucks...

Hyundai i30 Advantages

Totally cool design. The exterior is almost comparable to Volkswagon GTI!!! Sleek and smooth. Oooh laa laa...

Large boot compartment even though it's hatch back. I've been driving hatch back cars for years and therefore, I'm naturally more incline to get a hatch back car. Well, sort of use to such design.

Perfect sound-proof installation. Prolly built to feel as if it's a high-end rally car, it has very good sound-proof interior to felt expensive.

Sunroof for the more expensive version. Nice but seriously, I don't need that.

Hyundai i30 disadvantages

EXPENSIVE!!! We need to pay alot additional for the down payment in order to match the monthly installment so as to keep within our budget. Think is around $6000 odd extra lor! Wah kaoz!!!

The package sucks and the salesman doesn't seemed willing to throw in better offers. Because it's built to look like sporty rally car, it have to have nice body kit. But the default second most expensive model only comes with sunroof, reverse sensor, leather seat and a miserable 15" sports rim! Not nice! And, to make it look nicer, we have to top up $1999 for additional body kit and 17" sports rim. What? Pay extra more?

And we've decided. We will settle for Kia Cerato Forte. Price indeed is very much a deciding factor. I've still got 1 more school installment to clear (provided that I don't fail any module). I've got a Taiwan trip at the end of the year. Mum's income is not exactly that high and she's got alot of monthly bills to settle as well. Brother will be starting class with RMIT soon and he also have limitation to how much he can afford.

Though Hyundai i30 is really appealing, we really have to settle to what is our limits. One way or another, think my brother did mature as compared to last time. He would had persuaded for i30 if this happened 2 years back. But he now is willing to compromise to the fact that we all have concerns over cashflow. Good good~~

National Day tomorrow. My family will be celebrating... in JB!!! Haha...

935. sorry sorry? shawty shawty? salty salty?

Rant of the day: Last person to leave the office... Sian...

Korean recently been having lotsa boyband... And this is a new one, Super Junior. Somehow, felt that it's a male version of the Japanese Morning Musume. Hahaha...

Name of the song is "Sorry Sorry" but I don't think I heard that. It's either shawty shawty or salty salty... Whatever the case is, I still don't understand the language. So I'm fine with it. Haha...

Weird dance steps right?

934. car accident

Rant of the day: Enough of talking... You are not negotiating... Hang up please...

Ok, think I didn't mention earlier that on Sunday trip to Sentosa, my lil brother had a lil car accident at the traffic light. This was the scenario...

We were just 2 turns away from reaching Vivocity before we stopped at the red light. My brother's rented car was in front of mine (dear's car actually) and in front of my brother's car, was a pretty new driver in a silver Vios.

I saw my brother's stop light and I slowed down before stopping the car. Just as I turned back to chat with dear (at the back seat with Prince), dear saw my brother coming out from his car and so did the driver in front. Immediately I knew something happened.

According to my brother, his car came to a complete halt before he chatted with mum (in his car back seat) and just a couple of second when they started chatting, they heard a loud bang. The car in front of him apparently knocked into my brother's car. How can it be possible if my brother's car is in complete halt mode? What will you naturally think happened? The car in front roll back? The cars were on a slight slope but honestly, it isn't exactly very steep.

We all 3 of our cars moved to a side and examined the cars, nothing much seems to be the problem. Here are the photographs taken (car plate numbers were blurred to protect all parties)...

The front part of my brother's rented car. Only the screw on the left came loose.

The accuser's car back bumper.

Photobucket

The bumper was slightly dislotched on the left side.

Photobucket

As we can see from the second photo, the bumper did not suffer any form of scratches nor dent caused by the slight knock. Moreover, if the impact was there, my brother's car plate would had been badly damaged. Correct?

So all 3 of us examined for quite a while. The accuser did not say anything and both he and my brother exchanged contacts before we each drive off to our destination.

The next thing when we hear this young boy again was a demand of payment for repairing the bumper that cost more than $650!!! Are you kidding me? We checked with our car workshop peeps and even if replacing the original bumper wouldn't cost that much. Besides that, he claimed that the repair will take 2 days and he will need to rent a car and that will cost around $190!!! All in all, he insisted my brother to make full payment when in the first place, we are unable to determine who's fault is it that caused the accident!!! Both parties claimed the cars came to a complete halt!!!

Seriously, tell him to eat my shit!!!

Initally, we offered him to come to our workshop to assess the situation and if required, we may consider making payment as a private settlement. This probably will not take more than half a day and he will not require a rental of additional car. Save him time as well.

But he refused and turned down our offer. He tried to put words into our mouth by saying "I assume you do not wish to do a private settlement as you do not wish to accept my terms...". Eh, fuck you lah. Don't anyhow put words into our mouth ok... We are more than willing to do a private settlement initially (as we were previously still very patient on the situation) but you will have to let us assess as well and since we might be the paying party, shouldn't you come to our workshop instead?

He insisted on going to his workshop and replace the bumper because he now claimed that there were scratches and dents on his bumper!!! Let's see his bumper again above... Where is the dent? Fuck him lah!!! He examined for sooooooo long that day without finding any dent and now he says this.

We will NOT pay a single cent if he insist to get it done at his workshop and that will be our stand. And now, since he refused our initial offer to assist him on lessening his pain, we will up the stake... Come to our workshop for assessment. If repair required, we will discuss seperately. Take it or leave it.

So, either this guy take this suggestion or he may jolly well make claims from his insurance company. But bear in mind, if he file insurance claims, his coming year car insurance premium will shoot up by 100%. Good luck lor. Our's is a rented car and so, the insurance premium shooting up does not affect us a single bit. Go ahead and file claim bah. We will insist not making any form of payment.

Since he is NOT negotiating anymore, let's not waste time on further discussion. Go file claim (if you can) bah. Please check if your dad had bought 3rd party driver coverage hor. And also if he named you as secondary driver as well. Just a reminder lah. Because you might not be able claim a single shit hor.

If need to, see you in court young boy. We have already filed a black and white police report on the incident.

Goodbye and good luck boy...

At this juncture, family unity is truely needed. Thank goodness all in my family stick close. We will win the war. Aza aza fighting!!!

933. doggie gathering

Rant of the day: See you in court.

Don't you just love the tranquility of the beach?

Photobucket

The reason why I'm so tired at work today is because I'm totally shagged out and burn out on Sunday for the doggie gathering that my brother organised at Sentosa. Yes, I'm sun burnt on my shoulders. Ouch!!!

So, we managed to get dear's Prince (a.k.a. Boy Boy). Digging sand is his favourite past time on the beach...

Photobucket

Deric peeping at us from far. He's pretty naughty that day. Bit a small chunk of fur off Prince backside. Ooooooo...

Photobucket

And of course, Kelly's Jack Russell, Larky. So small yet so hyper active. Cannot stop moving for a second. So adorable too!!!

Photobucket

My Little Miss Tidy taking a photo with her Prince. He can't concentrate when he sees food.

Photobucket

See my shoulder... So burnt... Which is why I don't like to go to beaches during late morning or early afternoon. Too scorching!!!

Photobucket

After the sun, sand and sea, time to send the dog for a good wash at Pet Safari @ Vivocity. Might as well get them cleaned before going home. It's tough to wash them ourselves and likely to having sand residue in their inner fur coat.

Deric is soooooooooo scared. If he can talk, he will say "get me out of here please...". Just look at the face... Awwwwwwwww...

Photobucket

"Help!!! He is pulling my hind leg!!!" Look at how tightly Deric grabs the table edge...

Photobucket

"I don't wanna pom pom... Hurhur..."

Photobucket

Prince getting the final trim as well. Look more steady on the trimming table lah...

Can't get a shot of Larky doing his grooming though. He was already bathed when we were back from dinner. Nevermind, we will have the chance again. =P

So which means, another round of grooming?

Rant of the day: Getting use to contact lens everyday...

Promised my mum we will go for a good meal once we got our bonus and here comes!!! Crabs at Red House Restaurant. Totally yummilicious lah...

First dish, kailan with garlic. This is real good! The taste of the garlic so intense that it leaves a very light nice garlic taste in the mouth. Seriously, must try...

Next, crispy roasted chicken. That brownish small plate is not plum powder. It's salt. The chicken skin is so crispy and the meat too tender to resist. But it's a lil salty though so cut down on dipping the salt powder.

Crispy baby squid is next. Not very nice though. A lil over fried and it felt like cookies rather than squid. Not on my list for next visit.

Cereal prawns. Oh yeah! This is good. And the prawns damn fresh lah! This huge plate of prawns is only 400g. Alot right?

And of course, the lead for the day -- crabs!!! We ordered the salted eggs with crabs. Damn nice lah!!! Totally mouth-watering and couldn't just stop at one piece.

Final photo before we leave the place with a damn bloated stomach.
