643. bleeding pain

Rant of the day: Keep bleeding... Keep keep bleeding pain...

I am seriously bleeding... not bleeding love but rather, pain. My dignity, integrity and reputation is all hurt! Just a simple email spoilt my entire day and made me lost all my concentration at work.

If I were to make things big, I can sue her for defamation. All 3 proofs as a plaintiff are present. There's no way she can run as I can even prove malice on her part. Even though no direct defamatory words were used, the sentence referenced that I'm dishonest and has no integrity. Innuendo...

The matter of fact is, I'm INNOCENT! And my brudders can vouch for it. 我行的直,坐得正。男子汉,我顶天立地,对得起天地良心。

No matter which defense(s) she uses, she'll still need to compensate. But I shall let it rest... for now...

But that does not mean I'm not pissed!!! My blood is still boiling actually. I felt so hurt.

642. photos overdue

Rant of the day: I'm melting fast...

Vesak day was a trekking for mother, dear and I. Went all the way to MacRitchie Reservoir in the morning to catch some nice and truely fresh oxygen. We started walking around 9.30am and finally ended the entire thing at about 1pm. Long walk right? It's almost 10km in total! A round of applause for my mum who haven't exercise alot and she's more than 50 years old!

Think most of the aunties out there will be complaining even barely reach halfway mark. My mum didn't even uttered any single complain except the scorching sun when it's closer to the noon.

The wide view of the beautiful nature. I can literally smell the freshness of O2 while snapping this shot.

Worry about your lousy sense of direction? Fret not. The park are filled with precise direction indicators. Next stop, the HSBC Tree Top Walk.

Monkeys are everywhere. Look at that cute monkey! But NEVER feed them else they will get bolder to snatch your food.

Mum and dear crossing an almost fallen tree. Unfortunately, I have to bend slightly to cross. Thanks to my height.

Guess what's this? Yes! A 1-inch long ant! Gross...

Finally, we'd reached the start point of the tree top suspension bridge after a long 4.4km trek. Here I am, posing with the history board.

The suspension bridge is about 250m long and it sways a lil as you cross. Perfect view among the tree top.

We seldom see butterflys around and prolly due to lack of colourful flowers or could it be these caterpillars are yet to mature?

Those patches of black stuff you see are birds' nests! It's like a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Before we end the trek, passed this small stream of clear water. Wonder if the water is clean...

Till the next trekking trip!

641. public service mrt trail competition

Rant of the day: The weather is so warm today.

A very early Saturday morning and while most are still practising their proning position on their bed, prolly playing mahjong in their lalaland, I'm at Bukit Batok for the Public Service Week MRT Treasure Trail Competition. It's an event for all public servants like me!

Was there relatively early, afraid of being late as usual. While the rest of my team members were still on their way, I decided to go ahead with my BIG business in toilet. Haha. Have to unload first before any running starts. =P

After registering, we have to make our way to the starting point. Yes, we are team number 13. Not exactly a favourable number but I'm not superstitious. Haha.

Before moving off. From left: Isaac, Jingyi and me. Jingyi wasn't feeling well actually but she made a point not to give up and decided to join us. She's quite pale right? There's one more lady, Judy, in the control station as the clue communicator. Her role is to sms us the clue to search for answer while we run around with only foot or train and snap pictures. Then mms back the answer for the next clue.

Halfway through the competition. All looked shagged. I'm already sweating like a running tap. Jingyi looked even more pale. Drink up drink up!

After the trail ended. A group photo for the team! From left: me, Judy, Jingyi and Isaac. We completed the search. Cheers!

Another team from my branch. From left: Weiming, TY, Yee Chaun and Kim Chin. They looked equally shagged. All sweating like crazy.

And the result. Yes, we came in at the 20th position out of 75 participating teams from islandwide public service organisation. Not too bad for a team with a not-so-fit man (that's me), a sick lady and we went to a wrong place. Proud of the team even though we didn't win anything. It's all for the fun anyway. The prizes were really nothing to be proud of. $500 for first position. You get the drift for the rest of the prizes from second to 10 consolation prizes.

Talking about just to have fun and get together for the competition, I was totally disgusted and ashamed when Judy told me she was "bullied" at the control station by other groups. Quoting her story, the organiser felt that it was too messy and decided to re-organise the seating arrangement. This in turn caused our team, one of the earliest, to sit all the way to the back of the room. Fine... so be it.

Then, while she was getting a seat, a guy from another team knocked into her and threw a newspaper on the chair that Judy was about to sit. This action caused her to drop her mobile and it auto shut down. Yes, the mobile was the crucial point of the game! Without a working phone, the game cannot continue. Nevermind, Judy decide to go to the next chair and when she was about to sit again, that guy threw another newspaper on the chair to "chop" for his friend! Fuck! So ungentleman!

Guess what, the guy was from the same organisation as us. Such a disgrace! *pui*

Nevermind, Judy then go onto the next chair then another lady from Al-tea-eh threw a diary to chop for the seat. Right... And she still to the cheek to mock Judy's phone that our team confirm lose because her phone cannot even start up. It's only a game leh... But heaven has eyes. Her laptop spoilt when she's to anxious to quickly look for help. Karma...

But luckily, Judy's phone managed to get recover on time but due to some phone problem, the battery life dropped drastically.

Yes, it's only natural to be competitive in a game but, please do it with manners and sportsmanship.

640. 中国加油

Rant of the day: I'm fat...

639. charged

Rant of the day: Ridiculously crap...

A pleasant not-so-pleasant "surprise" when I got home just now. A sealed notification by MINDEF. "On Government Service" it reads but somehow it doesn't look like a standard MINDEF notification. Hoping that it's not another reservist, I opened the letter and my eyeballs almost dropped...

It wasn't a reservist call up. It's an order to report for a charge. Yes, I'm being charged by MINDEF. Huh? For? It reads that I didn't take my IPPT or RT upon the closure of my last window.

*roll eyes*

Hello... I did tried to book for my RT but the portal NEVER FAILS to show that it's full and when I finally booked through my unit, it happens to spill over to my current window! Right... It's either I'm toopid or the system is toopid.

*roll eyes*

Anyway, I got pass the office musical audition and have a chance to learn a lil on how to sing properly. Hope that it will be a good learning experience. Best part is on the chance to do a recording! Yippeee...

I'm very much into this song recently. Yes, Leona Lewis ROCKS! Here's Bleeding Love. The song with real powerful vocal and techniques. Those key areas where she shift in and out her falsetto. Perfect... I wish I can master her techniques....

638. big bang, lie

Rant of the day: My stomach don't feel so good. Think I over ate...

Love this song, Lie, by this Korean boyband, Big Bang. Think it's damn cool. Girl kills man. Guy takes rap. Girl cry. Guy jail. Sounds a lil morbid but isn't it touching?

637. happy mothers' day

Rant of the day:

Happy Mothers' Day too all mothers in the world! It's a day worth remembering. A day dedicated to all the mothers for their love and care.

Since it's a special day, brought my mum to Waraku for delicious and quality Japanese food. We rarely take photos together. From left - me, mother and brother.

Dear had sort of became part of the family. Believe it or not, mum treats both dear and Kelly(brother's girlfriend) as her own daughters. Kelly wasn't here at dinner today. Think she's also celebrating Mothers' Day at home.

Ordered 2 set meals and 1 sukiyaki plus a mackrel and the entire table was filled with food. Their serving seriously is huge! Best suited for hungry peps.

Went to Andersons for ice-cream after meal. Think it is mum's first time to chocolate fondue. She simply loves it.

Love ya mum!

Mum rescued a baby mynah a few days back but unfortunately, it didn't survived and passed away yesterday. A lil sad actually... The baby mynah sort of fell off it's nest at Ang Mo Kio MRT and landed on the walkways. As the station is never quiet, it's in high danger of being stepped on. So, it started "flying" around but at terribly low heights, hitting into escalators and walls. So mum quickly grabbed it to prevent further injuries.

In loving memory

But sadly, it didn't make it even though we tried feeding it and nursing it back from its trauma. To the lil mynah, you are missed...

636. sentosa

Rant of the day: Don't force me to do things I don't wanna do...

My face is starting to peel after a lil burnt from Sentosa on Sunday. But I like the coppertone tan on my body. Very sexy...

*drools*

Anyway, just to update some of the photos taken on Sunday...

It's the first time Prince gets wet in sea. But unfortunately he can't swim like what other goldies do. How disappointing... But he did get alot of fun knowing a new friend -- Shino (the white female minature husky). It's Liwei's dog. Shino is quite a princess actually. She simply refuse to lie down on the sand without a "pillow" for her head. Right...

While the dogs get some exercise, I get my suntan done. Here comes coppertone skin! Great that I brought my transition lens along. Else, my eyes will be "cooked".

Look at the scorching sun! But I'm not complaining since I needed it for my tan. Love the combination of the coconut trees with the sun. Nice...

Here comes the bikini babes before getting their shower. Guys, stop oogling ok... From left, Arina, Liwei and my baby.

While the gals wash up, took this perfect shot with Prince. Somehow, he always looks like he's smiling but not sure if it is true.

Shino have this left eye blind. But she's still a gorgeous husky. Love the texture of her coat.

Break time at Coffee Bean before going home. It's good to have my corporate card with me. It's entitled to 10% discount. Ah... my caramel ice blend!

Dear's dad came to pick all of us up with his lorry. Grabbed this shot while on the move. Somehow, it felt a lil solitare...

Till the next Sentosa. But I'm sure that I'll find sometime to suntan again. Hee...

635. naughty boy lamp

Rant of the day: It's so warm that I'm sweating even when I'm sitting down.

Finally got my naughty boy lamp! But it's not the original porcelain version. Made of some cheap plastic actually but I don't care! It's cheap!

Managed to set aside a space on my side table. That lil dick is the on/off switch. So cute right? Ok, even though I like this lamp, doesn't mean I'm gay ok... Marc, please get this into your dirty mind. This colour looks dull when it's off.

How about this? Nice right? Love it so much! Thanks to dear for helping me make up my mind. Had been considering buying it for so long until that day when dear keep on saying "buy la" and I finally reached out to grab one. Muacks. ^^

Sentosa tomorrow and it MUST NOT rain! I've got my suntan oil ready. Here comes my copper skin (hopefully)! Haha...

634. overtime

Reminder: Buy sun tan oil!

I'm having second thought of doing overtime now. Haha. Therefore, I'm not doing my overtime this Saturday. Need to grab my stuff for Sentosa this Sunday actually.

This is for Britney fans out there. You want a piece of me too? Since I'm so fat, you can have many pieces of me meat. Haha...

633. free cone day

Rant of the day: Work non-stop. I'm like a machine.

Damn the weather! It's so warm and humid. Lunch is torturous when walking into the scorching sun glares. It's killing me!!!

But the free cone saved my day. Got your cone today? It's a worldwide phenomenon, at least it is at United Square. I queued for about 30min just to enjoy my free cone but it's worth the wait. What's irritating is the students kept queueing again and again, hogging up the crowd. There's students eating a freshly scooped cone and yet re-queueing for the second, third or forth time! Right... This shows how free students are nowadays. Teachers, you know what to do now... MORE HOMEWORK!!!

And if you missed today's Free Cone Day, put a note in your scheduler now. Make sure you are the first few to grab a cone. Anyway, it's also meant for donations to some worldwide children fund or something like that. There's a box before the counter but seems like not many "notice" the box even though the staff encourages for donation. I got donate hor... Not alot though but not very little for a cone of ice-cream.

It's Sentosa Day this Sunday. Gonna enjoy the sun (please don't rain). I wanna get some proper tan. Maybe I should buy some suntan lotion. Haha...

School starts next week. Sickening... Worse thing is it's 3 times per week! It's gonna be tiring again. Keep on fighting!

632. most hated mrt passengers

Rant of the day: Time passes damn quickly...

After 4 days away from work, it's back to office desk tomorrow. Can't imagine how much work I'll need to follow up. Sickening. And not only that, will still need to fight the train crowd. Damn... After so many years of squeezing, I've came up with the following most hated passengers.

The pole dancers

If dancing in clubs ain't enough, the poles in the mrts make a good choice to practise the moves. These peoples' eyes are basically blind that there are people who really need to hold onto the poles to stable themselves, especially with all the squeezing and pushing.

I bet their backbone are missing too. Not letting anyone else uses the pole, they must lean against it to act as a supplement backbone.

I suggest these "dancers" to either see a psychiatrist to get rid of their urge to dance in train for the former or visit the doctor to implant a new backbone for the latter.

The news encyclopedia

They simply can't live without reading news. They need news to survive. They need news to breathe. And the worse thing is, they must read that Today or MyPaper in a pack-like-sardine train! When there is barely any more space to stand, these "encyclopedia" ought to be shot.

Sometimes, they even require a reading table. So fortunately (or unfortuantely) there's always another person standing in front of them with their back facing them. Just nice! It acts perfectly to rest their papers on them.

I suggest these people to stay at home and watch the news instead. The other way to tell these people that they are irritating is the "table" to turn around and punch them in their face. I'll love to see that in train. Haha...

The loud hailer

As if the morning alarm clock isn't loud enough. These walking alarm clock will sure keep you awake. From what I observed, they usually comprises of the following people:
1) Cheenas (you know who I meant)
2) Old and "deaf" uncles
3) Women who had a bad night with their better half and their darling decides to "hush" back in early morning

Not only ensuring you to stay awake throughout your entire journey, they are generous enough to share with you their conversation! But seriously, I don't need their generosity.

I suggest these people to eat heaty food everyday so that they get a seriously bad throat and can shuddap... just shuddap shuddap... shuddap... just shuddap shuddap...

The Great Singapore Sale lau jiaos

They seriously put what they know to good use -- PUSH! When it is already obvious that there is barely any breathing space left within the cabin, they decide to use their talent to "pack" everyone in and yet, able to make ample space for themselves to stand.

And I thought GSS will only start next month or something like that. Anyway, with their "apologetic" sorry and "innocent" look, they make everyone wanna forgive them. I had this auntie who usually board from Toa Payoh. She'll run in and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze to the pole, ensuring that she can grab one of it. Then, she'll look around and say "sorry" but seriously, it doesn't work. All those around look damn pissed!

I suggest these lau jiaos to take cab. There is no need to practise their pushing talent since they are born with it.

The air freshener

They ensure you get the freshest air early in the morning. It's so fresh that will keep you awake at all times and trying very hard to avoid them at all cost. They may seems normal but just take a slightly deeper breath will be good enough to let that stench circulates within your nostril for hours!

Seriously, do they at least bother to take a simple bath before going to work? Even if they don't bother to keep themselves fresh, at least don't let the rest to smell like them. There's this short and fat man who will board from Ang Mo Kio. Not sure if he had bathe but he sure to gel his hair tightly to his scalp. Then, you will see ALOT of dandruff. Next, the smell comes... Gross!

I suggest their colleagues to buy them a can of deodorant for their birthday to tell them they STINK like shit!

The blind mice

As usual, the gracious passengers will all fall asleep the moment a pregnant lady or really feeble elder boards the train. It's like as if these people carries sleeping bugs.

These people can be easily spot. One moment they are meddling with their iPods, handphones or just simply reading their papers. And next moment when a pregnant woman stand in front of them, they doze off... Right... How convenient the tactic is...

I suggest these blind mice to get themselves pregnant to know how tiring it is to carry another life inside. If they are men, get fat... and I mean REALLY FAT! That is call putting one self into the other's shoes.

So, please don't be these peeps and if you already are, please change. Don't be another pest!

631. it's finally over

Rant of the day: I can't finish my box of grapes...

Today marks the end of the magazine module! Relieved... no more late night rushing out that crazy assignment. Relieved... no more studying for about a week. Stress... I had absolutely no idea what the heck I was scribbling on my answer sheet earlier!

My brain seems wasted. Nothing got register inside after that one whole fucking day of studying! It looks to me that I had wasted my one day leave. Shit. And the worse thing is, no one believes me that I really cannot remember a single shit! Either they think I'm too smart (I'll take this as a compliment) or I'm trying to smoke them (assholes).

But seriously... I'm really not sure if I'm writing sense during the exam. Whatever that comes to my mind I'll write. And so, the answers seems weird as they gradually doesn't answer to the question.

*sigh*

But whatever it is, it's OVER! I'm glad... really...

Had a whole lot of singing today and guess what, I've got another KTV session tomorrow. Right... My throat is bursting soon. Haha. But singing does release alot of stress (at least it work perfectly well for me). Though we are all not professional singers but we can still make out some quality notes. Haha. Ok, the emphasis is on "some" and not "quality". Oops. Not bad actually, considering none of us had professional experiences before.

Dear always look gorgeous especially with make-ups. Met her for dinner at Pizza Hut after her sudden craving for pizzas. While waiting for her toilet break, actually saw my secondary classmate, Iris! Was thinking why does this girl look so familiar (haven't seen her since we took our 'O'-level results in school and that was donkey years back). Didn't really chat as she's also rushing for her toilet break. But all I can say is 女大十八变! Think most guys will proclaim her CHIO I guess. But my dear is still the best! Muacks!

Coming up next, it's May Day! But I didn't get my long weekend. Not enough annual leave la... Not I dunch want lor...

*sobz*

Ben just told me something which left me a lil puzzled and yet disappointed. Shan't go into details but relationships do influence alot on one's mind. I'm worried but there's little I can do. Serious...

630. 我很“ti ki”

Rant of the day:

送她五个字:try me if you dare!

629. it:s magazine

Joy of the day: It's finally over!

I haven't blog since 4th this month! Been really really busy with my work and assignment. And because so, I'd been sleeping really late for the past 3 weeks! Now that it's over, I can finally sleep in peace.

To think most of us holding a day job and have to write, design, layout and produce a 64-pages magazne (excluding cover) is damn shagged!

* Not the entire magazine is uploaded here due to some dunno what error at Photo Bucket *

Cheers to the entire team,

  • Karan
  • Benjamin
  • Royston
  • Ethel
  • JJ
  • Marc
  • Xinghui
  • and of course, MYSELF!!!

Though the magazine is not professional enough but we've all done well. At least comments from outside are all very very encouraging. Of course, not forgetting to attribute the advertisers that we've ripped it out for project purpose.

Adelena: Very very professional! As if it's another magazine found on the street already.
Noorizan: Nice. Very nice!
Liyi: Not bad lehz.
Valerie: Where is your magazine? (the mag is in front of her but she didn't realised, thinking that it was one of our mag we bought for referencing)

So, one down and one to go. Next is examination on Friday next week. Work hard peeps!
