1042. lagging

Rant of the day: Will the haze just STOP please!!!

Is your Facebook lagging like hell? Mine is. And no matter what application I closed, it is still lagging. How irritating can it be.......

Or is it my laptop? Unlikely. Dear is also facing the same problem. Not my Internet connectivity I hope. But IT Show is coming again starting from Thursday till Sunday. Will make a trip down on what's new and good and cheap and must buy!

On the daily stuff, good thing is, work in office is more or less under control. At least there are chances for a breather. Year in year out and things in office don't change. Tempers flying all over. So are the arrows. Shoot me. Shoot you. Shoot here. Shoot there. So tired of all these but it is part and parcel of our life isn't it?

Anyway, don't you find our weather getting weird. The temperatures are going towards the extreme!!! Plus, the haze is seriously not helping.

*sigh*

But the good news is, dear found a new job! And it is what she wanted! So happy for her. Hope she will love her "new" work place.

1041. i learnt my lesson

Rant of the day: Black Monday... Not just the haze, my mood too...

I'd learnt my lesson...

Lesson 1: Always assume the people you wanna SMS to keep them update are idiots. Because they might not "know" how to hit on the reply option to either acknowledge the message or clarify when they are in doubt of the message.

Lesson 2: When not feeling well, don't be so nice just to take a few hours off to rest and return back to work. Because there are people who are simply to dumb to appreciate the effort. Some people are just not worth the effort to work so hard for... Just take a day MC and get enough rest lah... Best if you can get a few days more. They ought to learn the concept of indispensibility of staff.

Lesson 3: Do the enough. Don't need to work too hard because most of the time, the people "on top" don't even care. If need to, "act" a lil to show that you are "helping".

Lesson 4: When the people "on top" who doesn't have a brain talks to you, just nod your head and reply either "ok" or "yes". Their brain power can only accept and process these 2 words anyway.

Lesson 5: When you need to find a place to retain your sanity, scream into Twitter or blog. Else, I'll see you at the mental hospital in a couple of years time.

I feel so much better already after ranting all out. There's actually more to what really happened but to protect the identity (whether proven innocent or guilty), let's just take it till here... for now.

Rant of the day: Looking forward to Friday...

很久没有po了。没想到一写，就真的很想骂人！！！

在office里，我摆放了一个迷你白板。本想只是写写一些有的没的，宣泄一天的埋怨与怒气。也能当作自己的布告板，表明放假的日子。

就在前几天，因为真的忙到有一点喘不过气，而在班上宣泄着“最近比较烦”这五个字眼。竟然莫名其妙的遭受到无理的对待。开始只是“随口关心”的问发生了什么事。一当知道是因为太忙而留言，竟然无聊到指示同事窜改了我的留言！！！

请问这不是幼稚无聊，那是什么？职位这样高，但尊严在哪儿里？

白板是我的！！！真的，我想写什么就写什么！！！

我可是真的火大了我告诉你！！！

第一，你没有理由改我写的字。

第二，你没有权利改我写的字。

第三，你没有交情改我写的字。

第四，你没有经过我的同意改我写的字。那可是我的私人东西。不是公家的！请搞清楚！

好啦。竟然这样鸡婆，我就一不做二不休的写给你看……

1038. pre-monday blues

Rant of the day: I didn't know there's a school in Singapore named "Chestnut"... Odd...

I hate to think about this but....... MONDAY is coming and it means I'm back for work after my 1 week break. Totally sianzation... Pre-Monday blues setting in...

Dear is away to Korea. Makes me even "blue-er" than ever. But also good that when I'm back for work tomorrow, I can concentrate more on my stuff. 'Cause it's my teams' busiest period this few months. So sad right? After my holiday is work non-stop! So the re-charged energy also not enough to use lah...

The class gathering was ok but not fantastic though. But love the last part where everyone played without 形象. Gossip and gossip. Drank and drank... That's hell lotsa fun ya. =P

Rant of the day: I must resume my fish soup diet!!!

In just a few hours, dear will be off to Korea!!! Wow!!! I wish to go there some day as well. Erm... Till I save up enough of course. And I am still thinking about my graduation trip! Where should I go? To the West? It's gonna cost a bomb!!! To the East? Hmmmmmmm... Hong Kong? Maybe but definitely not enough for Japan nor Korea.

But I think I need to really really save up for this...

Ain't they sweet? 黑人 and 范范 dating for 10 years and finally... And the weird thing is, the ang moh at the background is way too high right? Weird~~~

1036. 谁对谁错

Rant of the day: I need to detox...

感情这种东西，确实是有理说不清。在感情世界里，没有谁对谁错。有的是爱与不爱。但是奇怪的是，人却往往要等到失去后，才会懂得怀念、想去珍惜。会不会太迟了一点？

很多人都无法正确的完完整整解释“爱”这玩意儿。许多作家写的一大堆有的没的，老实说，都是废话。“爱”能三言两语来批评、批判吗？就算是某某PHD作家又怎么样？以一个人的角度与观点就能断定“爱”吗？出了书又怎么样？是要展示他/她俩乃经验无数次吗？

“爱”是要个人完完全全投入的去体会，才会真正的从中一起学习、一起前进、一起成长。

自己经历了一点点恋情，就在自己的部落格里写了一些有的没的，好像了解与体会很深似的。那很了不起吗？但是众目睽睽下，瞎子都看得出付出的“爱”几乎是微不足道。那还有资格写那些废话吗？一切都是自己那任性放纵的自私观点罢了吧……一句话送给这种人：You are not fit and in no position to write all those BULLSHIT!!!

顺便给在读的单身或谈恋爱的男女朋友。

喜欢一个人，就不要勉强的去改变对方的性格或习惯。尝试了几次后，如果真的改不了，就不要以强烈的手段去勉强。因为越勉强，反弹就越大。听过rubberband的道理吗？那个理想的性格或习惯不一定是对方向往的人生方程式。爱一个人，就要懂得去爱与包容他/她的一切。做不到的话，也许他/她不是自己的真命天子/女。

常听的一句话“合则来，不合则散”。很写实。不要等到结婚生子后才后悔。那就太迟了……

Rant of the day: I need to exercise!!!

I still owe the Valentines' Day photo and only just managed to get it in my laptop. Oops... =X

Anyway, back track on our early Valentines' Day celebration. This is probably the first time I didn't really get a gift for dear. Too busy with work and CNY stuff. So, only managed to get a bouquet of roses and gebera. Weird combintation I know, but apparently, it matched nicely together. Perhaps the colours of the flowers. Yam with pink. Nice~~~ Dinner at Brewerks. Love the food but it's usually an annual visit to the restaurant because... NOT CHEAP!!!

Since CNY till today, had been praying, praying and praying... The usuals every year... But it's my first time to Loyang Dua Pek Gong Temple. ALOT OF PEOPLE AHHHHHH!!! But it's very much well organised as compared to the others.

I seldom bet but read from many sources that my zodiac will be pretty lucky this year in petty bets, gonna pray hard to the God of Fortune!!!

HUAT AH!!!

Deric got a fair share for this new year. A new collar!!! Damn smart right? Bought it from Taiwan last year. Lovely black and white bow tie collar...

And, both of us have to snap a shot too!!!

1034. happy chinese new year

Rant of the day: Ate too much... Feeling extremely fat and heavy now..

It's Chinese New Year!!! Woohoo~~~

Had been busy though. Things to clean up. Stuff to pack up. Deities to pray hard. Ancestor to pray as well. Friends to meet up. Relatives to visit. Tiring... But it's enjoyable at the same time. Once a year thing ya know.

And so happens to be Valentines' Day this year together with the first day of CNY. So had to celebrate earlier on Friday. Pictures not available yet. They're in my camera. But my camera is with dear. Oops... =X Will post them once I got them in.

It's a joyous occasion and let's not sulk over things at the moment. Release ourselves and be happy! Hope this picture will cheer you up. What if Mr Bean is in Avatar?

1033. slapped by reality

Rant of the day: Hate how humid the weather is recently... HOT AH!!!

While everyone (most people) are in the mood for the coming festive season, saw something that pretty much saddens me. After sending dear home, I was at the usual bus stop, waiting for the usual bus. It was after a while when I heard rattling sounds coming from the rubbish bin. As I turned back, saw a really really old ah pek rummaging through the bin for something.

He wasn't badly dressed (but I'm not sure about the smell though) and his hair was neatly combed to the side. What shocked me was he dug out a small plastic bag with unfinished bread and wanted to keep aside! Next, he found a can of unfinished Pokka Green Tea and started drinking! Felt satisfied, he flattened the can and put it into a small plastic bag.

I wasn't the only one looking. In fact, everyone at the bus stop were watching with disbelieve.

When I was reaching home in a couple of stops, I saw another really old ah pek with tattered and torn singlet, pulling a huge translucent garbage bag filled with drink cans! Time on my watch was almost 12 midnight!!!

Very disheartening isn't it? Chinese New Year is just around the corner and yet, there are peeps like them gonig through hardships that we can't imagine. Most of us are now trying hard not to spend too much while these people are trying hard to have enough just to fill their stomach!

Societal divide... Social divide... Financial gap... Society class distribution... Whatever you call it is now slapping right into my face! While the gahmen says "no Singaporean goes hungry" (somewhere along that line lah), I beg to differ. I think it's not exactly an achievable target, not at least in the next 5 to 10 years. The reality is staring right in front of us.

*sigh*

Aye... Get to sleep. Ain't feeling that good suddenly. Had been sneezing for the past few days.

1032. one more week

Rant of the day: Pre-Monday blues...

Just a week before CNY. So fast!!!

It's been fun since I completed my classes. No more class after work! Which means, more time for the things I wanna do. So for a start, went clubbing for 2 consecutive Saturdays. That's damn rare for me actually. Haven't club that many in a month for quite a while. But that also burnt me out alot. Think I'm physically too old to club that often now. Totally cannot tahan the Z virus... zzzzzzzzzzzz...

Realizing it's the final weekend before CNY, I cleaned my room earlier on after dear left my place. Shagged!!! But at least got most of the things done. Even got the CNY deco up in the living room! Haha... Steady lah~~~

几乎是完美的歌词。简直是比对着我此刻的心情。

已经不记得到底是第几次，因为关心她的身体健康而闹别扭、搞冷战。当关心换来的却是AP……

可能是我关心太多。但是少关心一点真的会比较好吗？

It's been a really bad day today. Really bad day... Seriously. If the mistake done (I'm not even sure if it is indeed a mistake in the first place done by me) is so hard to explain to the public, sack me lor! If it makes it easier to explain. Really... Or you want me to resign? What's the purpose of throwing all those procedures that wasn't followed 2 years back when I just joined? When you wasn't even here!
