Corporates are already preparing the activate all sorts of "preventive" measures but seriously, I find certain stuff are a lil too exaggerating. I need to take temperature twice a day from next week onwards! But there is no confirmed infection is Singapore lor...
Was thinking that since my thermometer is already not in order as I think it's low battery. It doesn't exactly make sense to buy batteries as those mini batteries are extremely expensive and also, thermometers are really cheap now. So, might as well buy a new one. But, it's out of stock!

My whole day was packed with stuff to do. Woke up and changed the sofa covers all by myself! Usually it's a 2-man job to change it but I did it alone!!! And then swept floor. Deric is sort of shedding now and there's lots and lots of fur ball all over the house.
After all the household chores, went straight to dear's place to send Boy Boy to the vet for follow up but by the time I reached dear's place, the vet is closed for lunch. So, spent the rest of the day with dear.
After lunch, it's Boy Boy's excursion to the vet and then, car cleaning time to remove all the Boy Boy's saliva and fur. By the time we are done with all the cleaning, I'm already sweaty and hungry... And then, remembered dear wanna go Uniqlo at Tampines One 'cause it's their last day of the opening sale.
Rushed home to bathe and change up and off we go. But it's dinner first. Can't do anything much without energy right?
Dinner at Cafe Cartel. We gotta try the honey ribs.

This week is hell for me. Had been staying till late in office for 3 days (including today) and for past 2 nights, da pao-ing work home and work till 1am. Damn tired...

So sian... The long weekend is over...
Went to JB on Saturday. It's been around 4 years since I last crossed the causeway. And yeah, there's been changes. Not alot though. At least the City Square looks huge and pretty well equiped to spend the whole afternoon.
What didn't change? The streets beyond City Square... The traffic is still horrendous.
And, out of nowhere, an ugly and old building in between of 2 modern towers!
Also, broken traffic lights. Saw that big lobang in the middle of the green light?
Besides these, the are very minimal trees along the streets and this makes it very very warm to stroll out. So, everyone is literally "confined" in City Square because... AIR CON!!!
Not only that, many of their sign boards are only in Malay. Please... JB had developed into a mini tourists area because of the cross-over to Singapore but still, it's very not tourists friendly. How can they expect everyone to understand melayu leh?
Seriously, they need to do alot of work in JB to catch up with what's across the causeway. Started off status quo but look at both places now... They need at least 15 years to catch up with the neighbour's current environment.
Anyway, had my hair cut earlier at my usual salon.
I love my ah gong hair!!! It's cooling lor. Really needed a hair cut 'cause the weather is getting warm these days. And also, short hair is easier to maintain.
Sian ah... It's hell when I think about going back office tomorrow...
Rant of the day: Weird... It rained but still so humid!!!
6 more maggots being removed today. But Boy Boy do seems more alert and not as restless as yesterday.
Somehow we were not convinced that Boy Boy can discharge on Saturday 'cause it seems like there might be more maggots growing in his toe. And if there is, we will not be able to help him except the vet. So dear decided to let Boy Boy stay till Sunday while they continue with the treatment.

His toe ain't as swollen as yesterday but still ain't recovering fast. Looks like there might be more maggots inside right? *heart pain*

23 maggots!!! The vet took out 23 maggots from Boy Boy's rotten toe!!! What the fuck!!!

Seriously don't know what Boy Boy had stepped on that causes the sudden infection. So now, the vet is monitoring the situation for 2 days and poor Boy Boy have to stay at the clinic for 2 days. Guess he must be feeing lousy now. But it's for his good if not he will not recover... We will visit him tomorrow again just to let him know we are still there for him.
Have been loving dear's golden retriever since the day we met and he is like another dog of mine now. So it's really sad to see him in such a stage and even the vet can't explain what causes the infection. But we are suspecting is due to his own clumsiness when he walks.

Have I ever mentioned that the family staying in the unit above us is damn irritating? When the kids were still toddler, we use to find soiled diapers on the aircon main duct. But the most astonishing find last time was used panty liner.
Besides their frequent littering onto our aircon main duct, the kids love to wear their mother's heels and walk around the house. So the in the daytime we can hear "clok clok clok" coming from our ceiling. Sometimes, it sound goes faster because they are fucking running in those heels! For goodness sake... When they grow up, they can have plenty of fun chasing buses in heels lar!!!
So, now the kids are older and guess what we found on our aircon main duct a few nights back...

Hasanah going for her LONG break for honeymoon and have to take over.

Had dinner at Bugis Junction and went for desert at 记得吃 (Ji De Chi). Heard good comments about this desert store.
I ordered this mango sago with ice-cream. Erm... the ice-cream is underneath the layer of ice. Haha.
Actually wanted to order the durian desert but... peeps around me don't eat durian! So, not wanting to cause them to puke... settled for mango, which is also my favourite. Never mind. Dear, we go next time ok? I want to try their durian desert!!!
