The black coloured macaron might look a lil turn off but it's the new sesame flavour and it's damn good. Not sweet but the taste of black sesame lightly fills up the entire mouth. The coffee flavour is also one of my favourites.

Found new place for good lunch. We had all along though Donut Factory sells only donuts and we are wrong. They serve meals now! And seriously, it's pretty good and affordable. Good for the office peeps.

Rant of the day: Workshop roster is a weird weird de...

IPPT Preparatory Training (IPT) is finally over. 8 sessions... Supposed to train NSmen to pass IPPT but it ended up to be an escape route for NSmen to fail IPPT and don't need to take RT in the following window. It has lost the original intention...

Yeah, it sort of became an escape route for me as well but still, I take the track training seriously because I seriously need to lose some weight. Fat fat fat.

And yes, it is also a gathering time with Lihao (my long time secondary school friend). Think it might be the only time where both of us are free to get together for talk cock session. Really...

So, after 8 sessions of not-so-vigorous trainings, I managed to pass my 2.4km run for the first time since ORD!!! No joke man!!! For my age group, needed 12.40min to get 2 points (minimum passing score) and I clocked a surprising 12.38min!!! Woohoo~~~ Still fail my IPPT though 'cause I can't clear chin-up and standing broad jump but hey, passing the 2.4km is an achievement for me ok!!!

Is happy de lor!!!

Anyway, I am really sick and tired of my work... It's even more dreadful than before now to wake up for work. Really can't wait for December holiday to come. Here I come Taiwan!!!

Rant of the day: IPPT... Time to fail again... YEAH~~~

I really cannot manage my workload anymore. Things are piling and piling up... Neverending... Like today, only managed to leave the office at almost 8pm! It's total madness!!!

So stressed up... Ance problem not getting any better. Yet, kena "nominated" (arrowed is a better word) to perform in NDP competition. Wah lan eh... Where got time? So now, still have to rehearse for the competition performance. As if I really got nothing better to do.

Rant of the day: It's gonna be hell week in office... AGAIN!!!

Just some updates over the weekend. Mum was one of the performer for her company Dinner and Dance on Saturday. Theme was "Sexy".

And in order to create the effect, dear and I spent quite a while on conceptualizing mum's image. Dear lent my mum a sexy top which dear don't really dare to wear as well. Super revealing. Can see long gao (cleavage) if the tits are properly squeezed.

Also, since it's a night even and mum was performing, smoky eyes were drawn. Here's dear doing the face and coverage.

I did the smoky eyes for mum. Yes, I do know a lil about drawng eye shadows. Haha...

Nice bo? See, got long gao!!! OMG!!! What you are not seeing from the photo is that she's wearing a pair of black shorts with netted stocking and boots. The silver reflective bangle was from Taiwan. The top was actually more revealing than this and mum decided to wear a lacey tube over to cover up. Haha...

So I guess all this transformation will make her the star and highlight of the night. =P

Over Sunday, I finally bought Wii~~ Yes~~ Weeeeeeeee~~ So happy but on the expense of dear's and my wallet.

Total, $533 and make it a whole. So the dealer sold us at $530. Ouch... But if you break it down and compare to some other shops around the area, this will be the best deal. Luckily dear wanna share the bill, else, I think I gotta settle for biscuit for lunch for the next 3 months... Love you baby. Muacks!

But yes, dear and I are now proud owner of a set of Wii!!! Weeeeeeeeee~~ Support original titles. So we ain't cracking the set to play friendly version games. Heehee... But we might consider to bring it back to the dealer for firmware update in order to expand the language region. Else, we cannot play other original foreign language titles (e.g. Japan games). But doing that will be another $80. So expensive...

Think better save aside a sum of money for Taiwan trip this year end... Plans on-going now... Heehee~~ ^^v

Rant of the day: Hate waking up early...

Last seminar to be conducted outside office this year. Finally, it's done... But here comes the next phase of shit -- workshops. And this year, due to the sheer volume of new employers taking part in our scheme, we have to conduct the workshops on a daily basis.

Rant of the day: I hate heart betrayers...

Tomorrow should be my last seminar run for this year before the workshop starts end of next week. And I just got ready the workshop materials and is pending approval. But I guess the approval will not happen anytime soon.

Was telling Cheng over lunch that I'm already started sneezing (only at night before bed and dunno why is it so) and I prolly have the H1N1 thing in me but it's not fully developed yet. Because, it's so common now and indeed, just a common flu... Even the clinics now no longer run H1N1 test because, more than 50% of the flu patients who did the test has H1N1 now.

Since it's just a flu, the only way is to drink more water, avoid unhealthy food and exercise more often. To combat the flu is to start staying healthy in the first place.

But 2 more new death cases in Singapore. Even though the death was not caused solely by H1N1, at least we now know it causes complications to the existing diseases that's already residing in the body.

Hmmmmmm... Think about it, Joanne is down with flu and will be on MC... Back to office only on Monday. H1N1?

As of today, dear and I are together for 1234 days since 05 March 2006... Nice numbers... But such number combination usually do not open in 4D draws.

Lil brother is down with flu and fever and got 2 days MC. I'm beginning to sneeze a lil at night and not sure if I got the flu as well 'cause it only happens at night. Ahh ahhhh chooo~~~ Mum seems worried and decided to get each of us a bottle of liang teh (herbal tea). Bitter... Argh...

It's been a long day today and seriously, I couldn't find some time to settle down and seriously clear up my stuff. I'm really trying very very hard to do whatever I can that I'm tasked. And, I can't multi-task too many stuff at one go.

Sort of forcing myself to keep moving on... Ya... 被逼的...

Planning for a short getaway to Bintan with dear this coming September. The long weekend... Yes... Snorkelling!!! Massage!!!

Rant of the day: Under extremely stressful state of mind...

Gawd... I need more than 24hrs a day!!! For a moment the whole day, I've been thinking of slamming my face right into the monitor and scream "I had enough!!!" but I can't do that... can I? Hahaha...

All these work stress had caused an acne outbreak all over my face. It's damn irritating lah... No matter how much water I drink or how many times I clean my face, I simply can't get rid of these residents!!! Argh!!!

So now, besides the work problem, I've got acne problem to tackle. Darn...

I'm trying very hard to entertain myself on a Sunday afternoon while dear enjoys her read on Harry Potter. Internet is really really slow these days and not exactly sure why. My attempt to re-watch Bleach (it's an anime and not the bleach solution) takes forever because it is really loading way too slowly...

Only left with the Facebook and blog to entertain me through this boring and humid Sunday afternoon.

Rant of the day: Freaking tired...

Sort of had a slightly earlier knock off time today. Session at SHRI was pretty short. Turnout was not as high as what we had expected earlier. It was only one fifth of the expected turnout. But anyway, the session was still pretty well accomplished.

And it is the first time I received a token of appreciation for conducting the seminar! A lovely engraved Parker pen!!!

Since the location is pretty close to Bugis, sort of stayed around with dear. And it's Swenson's for dinner. Dear's salad is insanely large!

Had my favourite curry chicken baked rice. Loving it~~~

And oh yes! I finally bought my blazer at Zara!!! Love the cut and the fabric. And best of all, it's on a huge discount! Original price at $299 and I got it for $159!!! Woohoo~~~

Had been contemplating whether to get a blazer as I don't foresee frequent usage but simply can't resist getting one that suits me well. Like what dear said, men's blazer don't go out of fashion. The fabric perhaps but it will be deemed as vintage and still ok to go on street. Quite true right?

Back track a lil...

Previously had dinner at Fish & Co. and simply adores their lemon butter mussels. It's a must try!!! It's served with 4 slices of spiced bread. Mmmmmmmm...

And have you been to MOF (Ministry of Food)? There's now one in AMK Hub basement 1. Ever since dear introduced me to this Japanese dessert, been loving it so much as well... Macha ice-cream with red bean and plain dango.

It's OT day again tomorrow. Need to resend all the previously bounced emails again... Sucks!!! It is really important to have a meticulous data entry temp staff. See now have to do alot of double work because the data entry wasn't accurate... Waste of time...

921. harry potter and the half blood prince

Rant of the day: Pimples pimples everywhere!!!

Ance outbreak!!! I'm totally stressed up with doing the plans for the workshop and stuff. Had to engage all heroes to help me out... I really can't manage it on my own. There's really way too many things to handle alone.

Still, there's a few more seminars to conduct in-house and also with another external organising party coming tomorrow. One coming next week as well.

Anyway, watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince earlier. Seriously, it's really just average. For someone whom didn't read the book and can spot many many short cuts to skip the story, the script writer really didn't edit the story well from the original book.

There's alot of details not shown, making the storyline a lil weird and illogical. Many portion of the movie just doesn't link nor make sense... Lemme list down my observation for the movie...

The bad

1) Why couldn't the 2 highly skilled death eaters (subordinates of Voldermort) win 2 kids (Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley) when they were in the middle of the long grass area?

2) Why Dumbledore is able to locate the cave that Voldermort hid one of the dunno how to spell when Dumbledore himself have no clue?

3) Why when Dumbledore and Harry was away from Hogwarts, the death eaters did not take the chance to attack the school?

4) Why Snape is the half blood prince?

5) Did Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger get together?

6) Why did the death eaters attack the school with NO resistance? They destroyed the grand hall, broke all the glass windows and no one attempt to stop them? Weird...

7) Why the death eaters burnt Hagrid's house when there's no one inside? And where did Hagrid go?

8) Why did Dumbledore right hand turned black when he attempted to destroy the ring of Voldermort's mother? What did the ring do to his hand?

9) The fight scene between Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy in the toilet is so short!!!

10) There is lil focus on Hermione and Ron, even though they are also part of the lead in the movie.

The good

1) Fantastic animation effects. I exceptionally love the scene when Dumbledore and Harry were standing on a rocky cliff in the middle of the roaring sea.

2) Breath-taking sceneries. Don't you just love the mountains?

3) Ron is still really really funny. Love the part where he done a fantastic job in the Quidditch game and also when he accidentally ate the food containing love potion.

4) Hermione (Emma Watson) is chio la...

5) The acting skill of the casts are commendable.

6) The complicated BGR affair between Ron and Hermione is pretty amusing.

7) It applies to Harry and Ginny as well for point (6).

8) Harry got the chance to show his powers when he got into a real fight with Draco.

9) Hermione's power also quite zai. She only need to whisper to cast a spell!

10) Harry look slightly better than the previously episode. The last one he looked like a begger.

So, if I were to grade the movie, it worth only 3 out of 5. But I'm sure all the Harry Potter fans will rush for the tickets like my dear did. Haha. Yes, it's full house!!!

Rant of the day: 天天都有落叶，特别是今天。当沙沙的风吹，每一片叶掉一滴泪。

今天真的不是个佳日。至少对我而言，今天是个充满着困扰与忐忑不安的一天。上班前，听到一些很伤心的事。到了公司，有一大堆赶都赶不完的工作。在演讲前又有许多杂乱的问题。唯独到放工后，才能真正的处理我的思绪。

请问，会有父亲不认得自己的孩子吗？不拿那儿中“十几年没见”得的因素作为考量。相隔也就只有那两三年。竟然在面对面与自己亲生孩子对话时，无法认出在面前的人是自己的儿子！太夸张了吧？过去的近十年没钱给亲生儿子赡养费，竟然有钱请女佣来照顾新迎娶的外籍老婆！竟然还会买车！太离谱了吧？

我真得无言以对……顿时间无法相信自己的耳朵。只能倒抽了一口凉气，在傻傻的冷笑一小下。不然还要我个什么反应呢？

到了公司，扎乱的紧急事件不断的出现。

“Eric，要test电脑hor。”

“Eric，打电话给这个那个。需要快点按排。”

“Eric，等一下要这样这样那样那样……”

“Eric，那些email发完了吗？”

Eric真的不是神……Eric没有三头六臂！！！Eric只不过想好好的待完他的三年合约，就拍拍屁股找更好的发展。

中午的讲座有惊无险。还好有足够的人手帮忙赶工，不然真的死都不知道为什么死。不是我们的问题却要我们帮忙擦别人的屁股。真得没道理……

然后又莫明其妙的被shoot arrow，得担任其中一位FAQ panel的回答员。我只是ikan bilis，小小的职位而已。为什么还让我担任如此重大的责任？出错的话，我真得担担不起啊……自我安慰一下，可能个人表现太突出，所以被老板“赏识”吧……哈哈……

很累……精神很累……知道刚才回营跑步时，才能理所当然的跑开束缚。流了一身汗后，精神也没那么紧绷了。可是，明天历史又会重演。好厌倦……

不管了。走一步算一步了。

Rant of the day: Starting to sneeze...

Gearing up for tomorrow's major seminar at DBS Auditorium. Vroom vroom... More than 600 employers had registered for the seminar and probably around 450 to 500 will turn up eventually. So many~~

If it is so, this will probably be the largest seminar I've ever conducted. The largest group previously clocked at 399 last year at the same venue. What a nice record to put in my resume. Hahaha...

This is probably one of the most tiring week I had this year so far... I'm totally burn out...

Rant of the day: Aching legs...

This is gonna be another super busy week where I can hardly find time to breath...

I've got tonnes of emails not sent yet and deadline is drawing... Luckily, Joanne is helping. Else will be dead by the "DEAD"line... No wonder they call the end date the deadline...

I've got many updated bouced emails to follow up with the resending of emails. Mei Chan is now assisting to call back to get the correct email addresses.

I've got 2 external seminars to conduct. I barely got the time to follow up with them on whatever my boss is requesting. I'm gonna be screwed big time for not following up!

I've got workshop packages NOT prepared yet. Fuck! This is damn urgent as well.

I've got 2 IPPT Preparatory Training (IPT) to attend this week.

I've got a girlfriend in serious pain to take care. She just had another set of wisdom tooth extracted this afternoon. So now, she's equally "wisdom-less" as me... Hahahaha... Or maybe we are so wise that the wisdom grew extra teeth!!!

I've got an email box to maintain on a daily basis. This sucks big time as the emails are never-ending...

I've got weekly updates to provide for the time wasting meetings.

I'm expecting another round of website updating this week. Diana already warned me this morning that she need to update some info on the web. This sucks as well.

I've still got 10 internal queries outstanding to handle. The worse part is, they are already WAY BEYOND the service level. Boss gonna nag this as well.

Gosh... I think I'm practically drowned by work!!! I need many many helping hands!!! The only time I have to myself is now... Whine in my blog can? Because I don't even have enough time to whine in office...

Gawd... It's 2am and I don't feel like sleeping yet. Yes, it's only 2am on a Friday night... Even the taxi driver asked why am I home so early when it's a Friday night and the night is still young. Looks like I'll start streaming Bleach for the night until I knock out.

915. quality service award

Rant of the day: Aching legs... Aching shoulders...

I am pretty sick and tired of explaining myself again and again.

Anyway, there was a small voting within the branch for Quality Service Award for first quarter in this financial year. The nominees were selected based on the the number of compliments received between April to June. Yup, I'm one of the nominees but I was pinning much hope as I felt the other nominated colleague, Diana, had better skills in terms of customer service. Also, felt that she had better 人缘 in office.

Told Cheng earlier that I got a strong feeling that she's gonna win the award.

Result is out today and unexpectedly, I won!!! And the funniest thing was I wasn't aware until peeps started congratulating me via instant messaging!!! Was rushing for the emailing list and schedule plans. Deadline is tomorrow and I'm not even 5% done. That's why I wasn't even paying attention to emails...

It did came as a pleasant surprise in office after all. Heard that there are some rewards as well but not sure what exactly it is 'cause different peeps tell me different thing. But whatever the case is, when there's no expectation, the happiness is sweeter...

I can't wait for Friday to come. Poly class gathering and clubbing time. Yes!!! Enjoy~~~

I'm so tired... both mentally and physically... But why people still wanna make me feel even more tired? Maybe they feel that I am not tired enough?

913. catching up

Rant of the day: So busy busy busy...

What beats doing exercise with your long time secondary school pal on a weekly basis for a month? Yeah. For the whole of this month, I'll be doing IPPT Preparatory Training (IPT) again. It's already a year gone! Wow... time do flies man...

Anyway, doing this whole IPT crap with Lihao (my secondary school best pal) on every Monday and Wednesday. It's good catching up with lives and reminiscing the good old past. After all, the "past" is a men's things -- history = his story. Hahaha...

Oh, this means I'll be really exercising alot this month. Monday and Wednesday will be doing IPT. That leaves Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for gym. But I wouldn't be doing those on all 3 days. Siao! So, prolly doing gym on Tuesday and Thursday. Leaving my Friday to recover. And on weekends, dear might jio jio me for swim or cycling.

I think I will be sweating the crap out of me for this month... Hope besides losing water, I can lose some fats as well. Haha!!!

Anyway, it's the start of tremendous workload again. Wait a minute... Since when did my workload lessen? I seriously don't know how much more can I take. I'm like waiting for the time to past till my contract is up. Take the money and look for opportunities. I believe there is a better place for me outside... at least out of this branch.

Yes! Finally watched Transformers 2, Rise of the Fallen. Seriously, it's damn GOOD lah!!! The effects are superb man. And totally love Bumble Bee!!! I want a sports car like that too lah!!! It's like a babe magnet lah...

Talking about babe, gosh, Megan Fox is totally oh-my-goodnessly HOT!!! In fact, she's sizzling hot. That well bronzed skin. That bouncy pair of boobs. *drools* Shit, my girl is reading this as well. Haha...

Anyway, not sure if you had tried Xing Wang's new cafe at Citylink -- Xing Wang Taiwan Cafe.

It's our second visit there. What I really like is their friendly staff.

We simply can't wait to have Taiwan food at the end of the year.

And yes. They have one of the best 卤肉饭 in Singapore. A lil oily though. The burger was ok but I don't like the bread. It's a bit too chewy for burger. Oh oh oh... their bubble tea drinks are really nice. The bacon with golden needle mushroom is fantastic but not recommended for peeps who hated salty food.

Gosh. Looking forward to year end trip. Anyone else wanna join me?

Rant of the day: How can someone only updated 9 forms in 3 days when I can update 30 forms in 3hrs? Moreover, out of 9 forms updated, 2 forms were not updated correctly... Win liao lor...

I think I need to get a good blazer. One that can fit for both formal and casual occasion. But a good blazer is damn freaking expensive!!! Over $200 for those ready-made blazers in stores. If I were to tailor-made one, it's gonna burn a big hole in my wallet.

Was trying out blazers at Zara earlier and dear was like staring so hard into the mirror. She keep on saying that I should buy one even if it's for casual wear because I look like this when I wear a fitting blazer...

Haha... Serious??? But but but... the waist line different leh!!! He so skinny and I... erm... ya... Oh yes, cover his hair can? His hair is hideous.

Saw some pretty trendy blazers as well and am lamenting whether I should buy some back from Taiwan end of this year. It's not gonna be cheap but at least it will be cheaper to get it here in Singapore.

Oh yes. I wanna buy some blings for my vests as well. It's like those bling brooch to pin on the vest. But it will make a hole there right? Spoils my nice vests...

Rant of the day: I'm sooooooo brain jammed!!! Can't get the notes into my head!!!

Wanted to post this last night but think Blogger having some technical difficulties. Can't create new post throughout the night.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is out!!! And is my first time watching a movie in 3D!!! Think it's also dear's first time. So, we had our "first time" together at Cathy AMK Hub. Haha...

The theatre is too dark to get a clear shot of the huge and uncomfortable 3D glasses. I look like VR Man!!! Remember the James Lye drama? Hahahaha....

Oh yes, for those in spectacles, please wear contact lens instead when going for 3D movies.

And we bought the Ice Age 3 popcorn set! So cute lah...

In this season, Scrat (the prehistoric rat that goes gaga over the acorn) found new love with a female rat... Scrattle!!! Totally awwwwwww... And also, new mammoth addition to the herd!!! Plus, a new heroic character that saved all the main characters' asses.

As per the previous episodes, Ice Age 3 retains the theme on the importance of friendship, teamwork and family bonds. And yes, the humors are still there to make the audience laugh.

I'll rate the movie 4 stars out of 5. Must watch!!!
