Rant of the day: I'm pretty lost in Wordpress interface actually...

I hate "getting into groups" for group assignments. I really hate it. If I am given the option to choose, I'll of course get into my preferred group. But sometimes, choices are hard to decide isn't it? Perhaps I just don't have the courage to stand up and step out for myself. Or perhaps, I just don't wanna make things difficult for others. I don't wanna be the subject where peeps say I'm autocratic anymore.

*sigh*

Life is hard isn't it? That's probably the reason why I prefer to work on individual assignments instead. Even though it's tiring but at least I'm pretty much spared from gossips, hatred and freeloaders.

Done some calculation in office earlier and realised my current GPA is about 2.89 something something. And I will need 1 distinction and 2 high distinctions in order to graduate with a distinction degree (no honours programme for my degree and this is sorta replacement). It's hard to get that remaining 3 grades ok. Practically, almost impossible for me. Gonna try though. At least I'd tried. I've already done alot better than what I had previously during my poly days hor!!!

Shifting away from the above rants, dear is sick again. Flu bug seems to love her this year. Shoo shoo! Go away you bugger!!! Stop infecting my gal!!! ROAR!!! Hope she get well soon. But I think I ain't any better as well. Been sneezing on and off throughout the day. Darn! Drink water...

Rant of the day: 孝子或恋人，如何选择？？？

I'm not exactly sure why but today ain't the best weekend. Just whacked the hell out of Deric. He had been peeing at all the wrong places and seriously, dog's pee smells damn freaking bad!!! If you don't clean it up on time, it's gonna stink up the whole house.

You wouldn't wanna see how I hit my dog. It's scary...

Was telling dear how fortunate some peeps are. Sometimes, we just need to be borned into the right family and have that silver spoon in the mouth. What you want, you got it. Money. Cash. Food. Freedom. Girls. Car. People like me gotta work damn fucking hard to just have enough to spare while some others just let their mouth do the job -- say what they want. Not giving a blowjob you dirty ass...

When I reincarnate in my next life, I hope that I can be borned into such homes. If I want to study, just say it. If I want a nice place to stay, just say it. If I want cash, just say it. If I want a car, just say it. Just use the mouth... and say it... Don't need to work so hard.

On a lighter note, it's less than 2 months time to my Taiwan trip!!! At least I'm proud to say that I finance myself for my own stuff. Hahaha... Ain't cheap to travel but managed to plan and save enough for everything in this trip. I'm taking SQ ok!!! Not those chup-pa-lang airways hor!!! Mai siao siao...

Time to start preparing the list of items to buy for the trip. I've already got my down feather jacket. Need to check if my house got a luggage bag big enough for my trip. And, locks as well... Toiletries??? Medication??? Oh. Gotta remember to buy ginger tea mix as well. It's winter at Taiwan. Not snowing though but it's definitely much much colder than Singapore.

Can't wait for the trip. It's countdown at Taipei 101. Woohoo~~~

988. wet thursday

Rant of the day: Office freezing cold lah!!!

It's a super wet Thursday. Been raining cats and dogs since morning and weather outside is soooooo cooling. But somehow, it doesn't feel as cool in my bedroom. I hope it will not be so wet tomorrow. It's Friday!!! Please, keep it dry...

Falling sick and had been sneezing since morning. Probably caused by the change in climate. I'm not the only one sneezing actually. There're like another 3 - 4 staff sneezing as well!!! Great... The flu is back but was saved by Clarinase. I can't fall sick at this time. It's soooooo busy and if I'm down, the workload will be flooded when I'm back. Can't afford that...

*sigh*

So low morale everytime I look at the mailbox. Managed to clear most of the emails and kept it no more than 25 this morning in the inbox. But after lunch, the inbox had 44 emails!!! Cleared a lil more to about 33 and after I'm back from conducting workshop, it jumped to 60!!! WTF!!! Kill me please!!!

I can't imagine I have to go through this tomorrow again. Sian...

Rant of the day: Stress~~~

I'm tired... Mentally and physically. I'm wearing out soon...

Mentally tired because the 2 weeks "break" from work ain't helping. Alot more work now!!! Because one is on leave for roughly 2 weeks since last week and another will be on leave for 2 weeks. All having exams. Shucks. Exam month. Good luck to Joanne and Hasanah anyway.

Physically tired because I had been working out 3 times a week. Vigorously!!! Gym twice on weekdays and swim on either Saturday or Sunday. Desperately hoping that I can just lose that few more kilos. Fat lah!!! Wanna look better in clothes, especially when I'm at Taiwan this coming December. My jacket is so thick that if I'm fat, I'll look even fatter with the jacket on. Have to push push push...

984. halloween night

Rant of the day: I'm super broke now...

It's been quite a while since I'd last visited Marche @ Vivocity. Seriously love the food there. Went back with dear on Saturday evening before going for Halloween party. 

The weather ain't promising and we were pretty drenched when we were queueing. My attempt to capture the lightning on my Omnia failed after several tries. The rain didn't make the crowd budge even a lil. Everyone just crowded even closer to get some warmth and hoping peeps inside quickly finish their bite.

Good thing about only having 2 peeps -- get your seat faster. Hahaha... We almost got our seats immediately the moment we stepped into Marche and notifying the staff that we have only 2 of us. Bleah. Got the seats. Put our stuff down. Grab the Marche cards. Off to order!!! It's munching time!!!

Order a Spanish Paelle (seafood rice with prawns, chicken and loads of green pepper). Then, our favourite dish of mixed vegetables, mainly mushrooms and baby potatoes. And not forgetting the catch-of-the-day, Brown Garoupa with Pumpkin and Mashed Potato. This is seriously good stuff. It's my first time eating pumpkin mashed with potato and it's damn good lah!!! Very thirsty after the long queue. Ordered the lemongrass green apple tea. Shiok!!! And to end off the dinner, a delicious fruit pie filled with strawberries and grapes.

Sedap...

But of course, it's not exactly cheap lah. Good food comes with a price. Hahaha... Just a simple meal like this cost almost $50. Ouch!!! But considering all the good food we had, it's worth it (once in a while of course).

Halloween party last night was... well... pretty fun but it could have been alot better. Now I fully understand why most of my friends don't go clubbing with their gf. Shan't talk about it too much. I'm pretty sure for those whom are attached and goes clubbing with their gf will know what I meant.

We were originally planning to go crazy at Butter Factory but the queue was horrendous!!! And the worse thing was, they do not have a designated queue for those paying clubbers not opting for the free entry with costumes!!! This is totally fuck up. I'm paying to go in mind you. I'm not going in for free. Why let us queue and wait with all other "monsters" in the line??? Makes no sense at all. Reason why Zouk's management plans and serves better for those who are prepared to PAY money for entry.

Kevin suggested to go SOHO (Social House) at Liang Court.

There wasn't any queue to talk about! So happy! Like what Kevin said, the crowd probably went to try their luck at the larger clubs like Zouk, Zirca and Rebel.

In my attempt to look a lil more like vampire or Garra (a character from Naruto anime), I drew eye-liner if you realised... and it's a freaking painful experience lah!!! Dear tried drawing for me when we were still at Vivocity queueing for cab down to Fullerton. And there times where my eyes almost got poked!!! But dear had been really gentle. Unlike Arina, when she continue to draw it blacker and thicker, she literally drew like she's sketching on drawing board lah!!!

I probably might not draw this eye-liner thingy again. Because I look like those Changi bah-pok (gay) instead of vampire lah...

Dear is soooooooo fair that she already look like a vampire when my Omnia flashes during photo-taking. She's the delicious vampire ready to take blood from any guy who tries to touch her. Hahahahaha... You know, Jennifer's YaYa's Body...

Something I like about SOHO is that they've got fantastic deco and dance poles in the centre of the dancefloor!!! The early of the night started really slow. The crowd were soooooo quiet and boring. But we had fun enjoying peeps and the poles. Here's some pictures...

983. highlighter

Question of the day: Should I go Halloween party?

Now I also have the cute lil highlighter with 5 colours in the shape of a flower!!! Think it will be pretty useful for my final 2 modules before I finish my Bachelor in Mass Communication.

This highlighter ain't cheap. Cost me $10!!! But it's actually a donation for the upcoming President's Challenge and Jingyi (branch rep for all these stuff) came around forcing persuading people to donate.

Anything lah. It's for a good cause also. Plus, I get to enjoy the tax deduction next year!!! Hahaha... But the highlighter a lil big hor? Not very convenient to bring to school actually. Can't even squeeze into my pencil case. Hmmmmmm...

Anyway, it comes in 5 useful colours (blue, pink, orange, yellow, green). Not bad lah. But the ink level ain't that much. Have to "ration" out carefully when I highlight my notes.

Wait. 10 years of giving? This event had been around for 10 years?  Wow... I didn't realise that.

It's Halloween night tomorrow and we are still discussing whether to go party or not. Past experience at Zouk was freaking pack!!! Barely enough space to move, not say dance on the dancefloor. This time round, thinking of going to Butter Factory but it states on their website that it will experience full house. Shucks. Then, what time do we need to queue sia? 9pm? That is like super early lor!!! Think by the time we enter the club, my cosmetic all smudge le lah!!!

Ain't going in costume but if we are really going, probably going to draw eye-liner and paint my nails black. Dear suggested I colour my face white as well. Right... Her sexual fantasy over vampires... I hate you Robert Pattinson!!! Look at what you had done to my girl!!!

Rant of the day: I don't deserve all the nonsense... Stop abusing the word "customer service". It's only meant for people who appreciate it. You are NOT fit to use the word.

I had a pretty average day from morning till evening. But anything after 6pm are seriously FUCKED UP!!! This post will contain ALOT of cursing and swearing. So do not continue reading if those words sting your eyes...

To the bitch who wanna complain me, go ahead and try me. Just go... I'd been nice enough to slowly explain the rationale of our rejection to your appeal but you had been a serious fuck up bitch.

Nobody here ever told you to make changes to your whatever system before you apply for our stuff. You wanna go ahead to buy this and that, seriously, it's your own fucking problem. None of our business. Don't throw your problem to us and say it's our fault.

And if our information are all on the OFFICIAL website and you don't fucking care to read and find out, don't blame us for not informing the public. The website is there for a purpose. Don't expect every little thing to be published on the newspaper. Use your fucking brain can? If Singapore press ever do that, your daily newspaper will be as thick as your Yellow Pages you dumb ass.

It's your own respnsiblity to find out all the adequate before acting upon. Stop saying "last time... last time...". Last time police wear shorts ok. Last time one big packet of chicken rice was only S$2. Talk like idiot. Only change is constant so stop comparing last time.

Rant of the day: Busy in office ah!!! Emails piling all of the sudden!!!

I'd just published my first post on a food blog that I'd recently created. All opinions are just personal views. Nothing discriminating. The photos are also taken personally (not by any professional photographer) as long as the stores do not have any signages that says "No photography".

980. school fees

Rant of the day: It's only the mid week... *sigh*

Safer sex for human beings ya. At least the male don't end up as food for the lady.

My body is aching after gym session yesterday. Darn... I need some quality massage!!!

Paid my school fees earlier and got really pissed off as my credit card exceeded the limit! Have to use my debit from another bank to pay for the fees. Sian. There goes my reward points. So sad. But anyway, I'd accumulated more than 4500 points! Think I can redeem pretty good stuff at the end of the year.

Yeah!!!

This is the last school fees (I hope) and really having mixed feelings about it. I have to puke out close to $3400 for the fees. On the other hand, it's the LAST payment, which means I'm graduating soon!!! I'm still hoping for a degree with distinction even though this hopeful thought is diminishing fast everytime the result is released for past modules. I'm getting worse grade recently as compared to the initial modules.

Pray hard. Crossing fingers.

979. back in office

Rant of the day: School fees deadline on Wednesday. Fark!!!

First day back in office after my 2 weeks ICT and it's HELL!!! I'm like so lost and totally not in the mood to work. But no choice... There're emails to clear. Confirmation to send. Class to conduct. Attendance to prepare. Calls to make. Queries to close. And hey, I've also got COMPLIMENTS!!! Haha... It's received from today's workshop and I'm glad that it happened to brighten up my day a lil.

Conducting the class today seemed odd. I'm a lil lost of what to say actually and had to pause to think what's next. But it appears that the attendees seem welcoming of such short pause.

Work aside. Dear wanna gym today after work as we are both getting fat since the Bintan trip. And seriously... alot fatter!!! So we needed the workout and sweat it out. The exercise is damn siong. This is the result of not keeping a consistent workout regime. I'm sooooooo totally out of breath lah!

Think I need this now after gym...

End of my reservist!!! Yeah!!! But I've got many more to go... Oh sucks big time ya.

Wasn't exactly in a good mood today. In fact, I was really in the dulan mood since morning till now! Thought alot of things were already confirmed and cash paid. But turned out to be the wrong day and I had already made arrangement for other events and activities!!!

Felt totally fucked up and fed up...

Anyway, forget it... Still gotta move on with the day.

976. almost the final day

Rant of the day: Tired...

This reservist is damn siong... as compared to the last one of course. I am seriously running on a sleep debt... Imagine only about 8 hours of sleep for more than 2 days...

And if you think Singapore got no desert, think again... GOT LOR!!! And it is fucking hot lah!!! And imagine staying there overnight~~~ It's a total torture!!! Poor Elvin. Think he got minor heat stroke after staying on the damn hot place for about 6 hours and required me to cover him for the rest of the 10 odd hours. He mentioned he practically drank most of the water but he is not peeing out anything and heat was building up till he almost fainted. So sad...

But it is an experience worth remembering but not for repeating lah. Hahahaha... Fat chance.

Anyway, it's the final day tomorrow for this cycle. It's been fun meeting up the old pals from the platoon and hope everyone will be doing fine in the near future.

Dear introduced a new TV drama series to catch online, The Vampire Diaries. Only watched the first episode and I think it is seriously like what dear mentioned -- low budget show. The cast ain't attractive at all. It is also a lil too "rush" in the first episode. Somewhat like catching the train? Story seems a lil too weak but dear says it will be much better by the time I catch the 5th episode. Hope so too.

It's a Halloween night out at the Night Safari tomorrow night!!! Heard it's damn scary!!! YEAH!!!
