今天是Yee Chaun在我们的部门里的最后一天。其实会有一点的舍不得啦。再怎么说，也是我半个上司。虽然有时候脾气起伏很大，但是还算是个会照顾属下的老板。
在branch里的最后一个合照。希望她到了另一个部门能大展鸿图。
为配合家庭周，今天大家能提早一个钟头放工。不浪费着机会，抓紧时间去唱K。真的蛮难约时间去K。不管怎么安排，好像都配合不到时间。
K歌首要条件 -- 唱歌要有feel。哈哈！！！看我眉头皱成这样，可见唱到很有feel。哈哈！！！
Joanne也忙着点歌。不能输给Eric。哈哈！！！惠雯也要让你看到她的feel。
三小时一转眼就过了。好景不长。回家前来个大合照！我们都要唱下去！！！哈哈……

Rant of the day: Damn tired...
终于告一段落。《我要唱下去》的试镜终于完了。整个试镜过程，除了紧张还是紧张。有那儿种手指发麻的感觉。就连话都说得不太清楚。
真的很scary……但野蛮好玩的啦。
因为受到消息说会有很多人参加，所以建议我在10点之前就到登记处报名。好啦，都说要早吗。所以我索性就9.30到咯。哈哈。有一点太早了！算一算，我是第5名参赛者咯！反正Joanne还在家里，我干脆就慢慢的天报名表格。观察一下周遭。才慢条斯理的加入那短短的人龙。算了算，我是第10名参赛者。
说到报名表格，老实讲，感觉有一点贼啦。哈哈。表格上要我们著名自己最喜欢的5首歌曲，还有最喜欢的5名歌手或团体。但是一到等候房时，才给我们一张短短的曲目。上面标榜了60首歌曲，但是都不是我著名的5首歌啊！惨了！还亏我一直以为是我选的5首歌曲之一，害我拼老命的死背那5首歌！结果一首都没列在曲目中……
几sad一下……
但还好，60首歌曲中还有一些蛮有印象的。哼哼一下，再问问Joanne。还是能唱出来。只是不是100%有把握。只能豁出去了咯。
不懂是福还是祸。到我的时候，评判竟然不“丁”bell。要我一直唱下去。在5首歌曲中，评判挑了苏永康的《那人不该让女人流泪》。不懂为什么，在进去唱之前，就很有预感会中这首歌。结果就唱着唱着，一下子就唱了整首歌的一半（两个verses和整个chorus）。希望是好事啦。而不是因为唱的不像话，要把片段搬上电视做笑话啦。

Sort of preparing the possible playlist for coming Sunday's audition but had soooooo much trouble finding the right songs because I don't have enough memory space!
If you can't remember, this coming weekend is the audition for Don't Forget the Lyrics, Chinese version. Yeah I'm going. Hoping to win some spare cash. Haha...
Rant of the day: I haven't learn how to roller blade!!!
Sometimes I really wonder where did my current lecturer find so much energy in all his lectures...
He is already semi-retired and now just teaches as a part time lecturer but had been doing this for the past 10 years. And yes, on similar topics... marketing communications and the related. It's already the third lecture and he still talks with this strong energy in every word he says.
Imagine... saying the same stuff over and over again for 10 years. Amazing...
Guess it's the passion.
Sometimes, I already felt like rolling my eyes when I say the same stuff again and again for the past 2 years in my job. Consider the fact that the same stuff was repeated again and again in more than 40 seminars and 50 workshops. How do I go about finding the energy to repeat myself?

Ok. Back-dated stuff again. Mothers' Day was long over lah but there's some photos I think I should share.
Bought a Lychee Martini cake from Pine Garden. The cake is nice but somehow, it lacks the taste of Martini. Tasted more like lychee cake.
In the actual day, mum insisted to treat all of us to Dian Xiao Er for lunch. We sort of over ordered. Too many dishes!!! We never learn. Haha. Anyway, the food was fantastic. Love the herbal roast duck and the soup.
As for this week, it's filled with activities from the Public Service Week's Learning Journey.
Registered for 4 activities but due to some internal issues, I only managed to attend 2. The other 2 activities that was suppose to happen in next couple of weeks were sort of "voluntarily" cancelled.
The first activity was at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It's my first time to Sungei Buloh and I'm really really excited. But very early lah. Have to wake up earlier than the usual timing to work!
It's supposed to be a bird-watching paradise but we sort of missed the season. Nevertheless, we managed to spot an over-stayer. Haha.
This is the cutest thing you can spot at the reserve -- mudskippers! Those in photos are the World's largest mudskipper species -- the Giant Mudskipper. So cute right? Awwwwww...
You get to see this EVERYWHERE at the visitor centre and they roam freely around. Monitor lizards. They are roughly about 1m to 2m. This is the closest I can get to one of it while on our way back from the walk.
The other activity I went yesterday was at Northlight School. After visiting the school, than I realised how fortunate I am for not being at the bottom 5% of the society. And also, fortunate for those kids for having the school to take care of them.
The school was setup to assist children who didn't managed to clear their PSLE and to help them set a path leading to light. Tell them, failing the PSLE is not the end of the World. They still have an opportunity to move forward.
The Principal's talk was sort of an alarm clock to wake people up. There is no stupid people. It's just that they have not found the key to open up their intelligence. So the school attempts to find the key to open up the light in these students who were deemed "stupid" by their parents, peers and the society because they cannot pass the PSLE.
These are arts done by the students. Amazing isn't it? I can't do these... Can you? If we can't, are we stupid? You will prolly says art is not your forte am I right? So, why can't we use the same manner for these kids? Academic textbooks are just not their forte...
To the teachers and Principal of Northlight School, I salute you. It's a job I cannot and dare not do.

Dear and Arina had the same thing -- Lasagna. That's a huge piece of cheese on top!
Yosh had this vegetarian pasta. I like the plate!!! Clam shell design. Eh... but why clam shell plate with vegetarian pasta?
The brainless monkey game. The aim is to remove the coloured sticks based on whatever colour you rolled on a dice. There are monkeys inside the cylinder. Least amount of monkey wins! Look at the pro in action! Almost most game, dear had the least number of monkeys!
And Yosh had his hand on the sticks. I lost the first game and he lost the second...

This is funny. Don't you just love doing brainless forfeit? Were are Minds Cafe with dear, Arina and her beau, Yosh. Damn. I lost the first round of the brainless Monkey Game and Arina thought of this totally himbotic forfeit -- to walk down the aisle like a monkey. Eh Yosh, next time video cannot take vertically using my camera.
And then, it's Yosh turn to lose. Haha. A jumping chimpanzee in the middle of the hall! Hahaha...

Rant of the day: Pain... Pain... Go away... Come again another day...
"You have got serious gastric problem. .... Do not skip meals."
That's the instructions by the doctor. A sharp abdominal pain struck me yesterday morning at work but endured through the day and wanna see if mum's ginger tea works. The strong ginger tea mum made did soothe the pain alot but it couldn't relief the pain.
Just when I thought I only have gastric flu and now it seems like it's gonna develop into some serious gastric pain... forever...
Please remind me not to skip meals or have meals at irregular hours.
Owwww... I'm still feeling mild pain now even though I had took medicine. But phew... No fever! Heng ah...

I know I know... Haven't been blogging for quite a while and there's quite a number of back-dated stuff not posted yet.
Can't be help. Busy... Da bao work home again... Considering that one colleague goes on exam leave and prolly not coming back till next week and the other one down with flu and prolly coming back on Friday. Which means I'm the only one left in the frontline team to cover 2 email boxes, internal queries, website updates, manual forms updates, seminar slides to edit... Think I've been keeping my sanity in place.
I know I still owe the Labour Day stuff taken with dear, Arina and Yosh. KTV and Minds Cafe.
Also, the new eatery we found at Novena.
When I've the time bah. Not now... Still got Sungei Buloh photos to be taken next week.
