559. halloween party at zouk

Rant of the day: I can't stand *ahem* anymore! She really pushed my patience to the limit.

I should have this uploaded earlier on but was too tired and lazy to reduce the picture size and blog. Anyway, the Halloween Party at Zouk was a blast! It's literally 人间地狱 (living hell) where demons and spirits were everywhere. Definitely not for the weak-hearted.

So, it's gonna be a scary ride now. Please click on the [X] on your explorer now if you are afraid (coward). Ready? Here goes...

The charming vampire with his troop of 2 bootilicoius demon girls. Watch out for their red sequinn trident. They'll shaft it up your arse if you touch them!

Souls that were trapped in Zouk. Save them? Or you prefer to join them?

Just when you thought nurses are sexy. You will never want to bring this one home I'm sure!

Chinese zombies were so typical that day. Don't they find that charm on their forehead irritating?

This is damn funny! Rowan Atkinson with the Manhattan Maid in Zouk! But since when Mr. Bean changed his bear?

I seriously don't know what monster is this. The sequel to Adam's Family? But he need some facelift. It's sagging...

The Chinese ghost couple appearing in the midst of the crowd. But their make-up seriously need some touching up.

This is "scary". I'm soooooooooooo "afraid"... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Barney's gonna teach you sing and dance!

Now, this is really SCARY! I'll prolly shit my pants if I'm the taxi driver picking them up. *shivers*

But dear does not need any costume. Here comes the Sadako! She'll crawl out from your TV set in 7 days. riiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggggg...

Ok, picked the most interesting out of the huge lot of photographs. There's actually alot more like Catwoman, Harry Potter, Puss in Boots, Traffic Light, Hongkong Policewomen and lotsa undead criminals in chains. I'm so looking forward to next year's Halloween Party! Eh, a lil too early now... Hahaha...

558. i'm screwed

Rant of the day: I've got stiff neck... Ouch!

I'm so drained with all the travelling today. Revenue House to Bukit Merah. Bukit Merah back to Revenue House. Revenue House to SIM. So physically draining...

But today was one of the most appreciated seminars I've conducted so far even though there were too much awkward silence in between. The participants were very welcoming us as guest speakers. Even after we've ended the session and I'm walking out to grab some drinks with TY at Queensway, there's this participant whom actually shouted out from his car window to thank me. I'm so touched. THANK YOU!

Well, since we were already at Queensway and were "dying" from thirst, we decided to grab a refreshing drink from the market. And yes, it's the durian milkshake for me! Haven't had it for ages! The last time was with Xuan when we were lazing at Ikea.

It also happened that it's my last lecture for PR Practice and Writing. Ears were wide opened to catch any exam tips. Hope all those mentioned in class helps. What's left is the group assignment but we are quite on track. I'm sure written exam ain't easy to score distinction and it's gonna depend heavily on the assignment to at least help us push slightly higher towards the distinction level. Well, unless we screw up both. Haha...

I'm on leave tomorrow but ain't slacking at home. Will need to concentrate hard for my income tax exam on Monday. Haven't start on any chapter yet. I'm screwed!

Quote of the day: 活着是一种幸福。

That's it?

No matter what you are facing now is good or bad, it's a blessing to stay alive each day.

556. make-over

Shock of the day: Did she really pass away?

I can't believe my eyes when the sms came in. For a moment, I thought it was a prank sms. She's was still talking to me in office on Friday and now... gone... But I'll confirm tomorrow in office. If it's real, what about her team? If it's not real, who started the sick joke?

I'm still praying that it's just a lame prank...

Anyway, it's quite an interesting Sunday but a lil short though. Anna Sui's promoter actually tried to get dear to do some make-over with their product for free but as a demonstration model. Thought it was quite cool to do so. A simple make-over might cost you quite a price but dear got it free and it's one of her favourite cosmetics brand.

We were slightly early for the make-over and so they decided to start the preparation. The make-up artiste started powdering heavily on dear's face.

The crowd was really slow and perhaps due to the time of the day, no much shoppers around but occasionally, there were still some curious on-lookers trying to get some make-up tips and of course try the testers themselves.

The colours gradually developed and it looks like an art but done on the face. Concealer. Loose powder. Eye shadow. Blusher. Eyebrow pencil. Lip gloss. Glitter powder. It's like a "Cosmetics Recognition" lesson for me. Haha...

After about 45min, it's finally done. Here comes my gorgeous babe. So beautiful! So since I'm writing about this, do some free advert for Anna Sui. Those cosmetics used for dear's make-over were the Secret Wish series and quite a number of them are award winning cosmetics. Don't ask me what award they won as I seriously don't know. Haha...

So how can I not take a shot with my gorgeous babe? Jealous or not guys?

555. lil brother's 21st birthday

Rant of the day: Rice is pronouced brain dead...

Happy 21st birthday lil brother! Not sure if see this message though as he's in Brunei. Good thing is he's coming back soon and mum will still be in Singapore as her holiday trip to China is in the mid December (I think). But I'll be doing my ICT though. Considered a "holiday" for me too as it's a break from work.

Every Saturday is school project day and today as usual, meet up Royston and Ben to try finishing whatever we have left. We are dead tired... So bad that all of us couldn't wake up on time and we were all late. Haha. But I'm still the earliest though. Well, because I'm staying closest to our meet up point.

Just remembered what I've wanted to put in my blog for the past week. Dear bought me 2 wonderful pressies and I can happily strike them off from my wishlist.

A slick water-bottle. Nice, slim, durable and DOESN'T leak. Perfect when I'm bringing it to work, school and gym. It's the everywhere water-bottle. Definitely the bottle to bring to the family day in Zoo!

A super nice Nike shoe bag with shiny black and gold surface. So nice that I can't really bare to take it out from the plastic bag. Want to keep it in the best condition.

I love them so much dear. A BIG thank you! Love ya!

Ok, need to do project now. Night peps!

554. happy brithday mum

Rant of the day: Breathe... My resignation letter is in my office PC. Anytime...

I've finally got some time to sit down and blog. It's been a busy and tiring week. Haven't have enough sleep for the past 3 weeks. How sad...

Can't remember exactly what I'd wanted to blog down for the past week. Anyway, dear passed her Traffic Police Test with flying colours! 8 points on the FIRST attempt! That is so kewl. I took 2 attempts and still got a 16 points when I passed. Congrats dear!

I'd also finally digged some quality time to celebrate mum's belated birthday. I love you mum! Happy birthday!

Had a simple yet wonderful dinner at NYDC earlier on. It's mum first time visit there. So is dear's.

It's mum's first time on baked rice and think she quite like it. Hee... Notice the cardigan she's wearing? She knitted it herself!

And of course, their famous mud-pies! Yummy! It's nice of the staff to get us a candle lighted.

She really like the Chomel brooch and clip-on earrings. Though they don't come in a set but it matches each other. So, might as well buy both.

And dear was there with us for the dinner. Hope she like the arrangement.

Of course, left some short but quality time to ourselves. Dear's low-cut dress sexy right? Guys, grab some tissue for your bleeding nose now...

While I'm blogging now, it's actually my lil brother's 21st birthday but unfortunately he's in Brunei. Hope he'll do a mini celebration there. Happy birthday dude!

Anyway, it's Halloween next weekend. I'm going Zouk with dear for the "scary" party. Anyone wanna join us? Queue early... It's gonna be freaking crowded!

Rant of the day: I'm trying not to procrastinate...

552. sunday

Rant of the day: Hate tomorrow...

The weekend passes faster than my blinking eye. In a mere 8min, it'll be the start of a new week. How disgusting it is when you haven't really enjoyed the weekend.

Anyway, glad that dear had finally changed her mobile. The previous had gave her so much problem. Damn poor reception. Faulty keypad. Useless bluetooth. Lousy camera. And now, she finally bought a brand new Sony Ericsson W660i. Packed with full features of a walkman phone and comes with a 2-megapixel camera, just in case she didn't bring her camera and need to snap some shots. It's light and thin. Perfect for all peps who fine bulky devices a chore.

We bought similar mobile straps earlier on today. Dear also bought a damn sweet gold handphone pouch that can not only hold handphone, but also some spare cash and ez-link card. Cool right?

Also, weekend is used for project meetings. The first project meeting done in a library and I seriously thinks that we should have a change in location for future meetings. We can't really discuss. Have to always consider the discussion volume. So perhaps in some quiet MacDonald's for the next meeting.

We found an empty table and poured all our materials for the past week that we've individually gathered and discuss the requirements. The table had barely any space left. Royston brought so much information to reference. He's so hardworking. Ben looked tired. Think he had went back camp earlier on. Mark joined us for discussion. He's doing the project alone as he's unable to form a group. But we always welcome him to join us. He always liven the discussions.

Well, Monday tomorrow. Start of my "taxing" work again. Tired...

551. sexy names

Quote of the day: TGIF

Expert Rendering Intense Caresses

Get Your Sexy Name

Right... I'm an Expert Rendering Intense Caresses. Whoever is desperate in needing caresses can look for me. But I've got selection criteria. Haha. But what if I use "Rice" as my name? Here's what I've got:

Romeo Imparting Caresses and Embraces

Get Your Sexy Name

Wooo... Romeo Imparting Caresses and Embraces. See, I'm still a caress expert! Bleah!

Anyway, tried using office resources to do my group project this evening but failed miserably. I can't print the information out! All the pages are blank. @#$%^&* I'll use print-screen on Monday instead.

The weekend is finally here! Oh my body need some serious maintenance on my bed.

550. dead body

Quote of the day: KISS = Keep It Short and Simple.

The police cordoned off one quater of my void deck this morning and in the middle of the area, lies something covered by a large white piece of nylon mat. That thing prolly was a dead body. Wanted to shoot down the image but was almost running late for work. Too bad.

Anyway, I seriously don't know what happened. Was it a body? Did someone got robbed and murdered? Did someone jumped? Questions but wasn't answered. Was so hoping that it will be showed on news but none at all. In any case, I didn't hear anything last night. My room was shut off nicely from any possible hussles because my mum switched on the air-con.

I've got back my second marked exercise and was really glad that I've got a high distinction but then again, most get a distinction so it makes my high distinction kinda "cheap". But I'm still glad that I got it.

Our project group is finalised. So glad that the peps I'm working with are really fantastic peps. We better not screw up this 30% assignment. If we get at least a distinction for this, we will have a high chance on a distinction on the final grade with exam result. Gambatte team!

In a couple of minutes time it will be Friday but I'm really tired to perk up. Dear sounded so tired too. Hope she does fine. We must both 加油 ok!

Isaac brought me for some good lunch this afternoon. The cafe name was quite amusing actually -- 三多 (San Duo). Should be a familiar name for those who had watched the Hong Kong TV drama, 《真情》 (Kindred Heart). Coincidentally (or intentionally), it sells those roasted food like roasted duck, char siew, suckling pig and those Hong Kong noodles.

I ordered the char siew and roasted meat rice. The rice was ok and I thought it's a lil too moist but the sauce goes wonderfully with it. The char siew was really good. There's no presence of fats and the meat was really tender. The layer of fat in the roasted meat was relatively ok. Somehow, you wouldn't feel sinful after eating the fats. Usually, there's this "fatty" taste in most meat with fats but you can't taste that in their roasted meat.

But I find it a lil pricey for such food (but it's like a cafe) so you might want to visit the place with moderation. So if you are interested to make a trip there, it's at level 2 of Square 2, next to Ajisen.

It's late and sleep sounds like a GREAT idea. Nights peps!

549. panasonic fx30

Rant of the day: I'm so tired...

Haven't got the time to really sit down and blog even though I've been wanting to do so. It's busy busy busy period. Homework starts to consume my energy and time. Press release. Fact sheet. I'm not sure if I've done correctly but hopefully I'll get high distinctions for those assignments.

It's really nice to hear from Hans on Sunday. I mean it when I've said "hear" from him. He actually gave me an overseas call from the States and it's already 1am there! I really appreciate that attention and glad that he's ok. Too bad that he can't be back for vacation during his "winter vacation" as he had ran out of spare cash to bring him back. But he'll be back on his next summer vacation and we betta meet up.

I felt so cheated that day after buying a plate of wanton mee at Wisma foodcourt.

It cost me $6.50 for 4 wantons, some char siew and a couple of greenies. The wanton skin was too thick but there's a whole small shrimp inside. It's a lil too cold too. The char siew however was quite ok except that it's a bit hard. There's no fats found in the char siew though. The noodles were a lil too rubbery. Seems like it's not cooked long enough. It's so NOT WORTH my $6.50 and I swear that I'll never buy it again there.

Mum had bought her tickets with aunt to China during December. Talking about travelling, I haven't get out of Singapore for a very very long time. No time and money. Anyway, in order to capture down the memories there, mum bought a digital camera for the family.

It's Panasonic FX30. Look at how sexy this gadget is... Comes with a pretty good anti-shake mechanism, it's almost perfect for those long bus journeys that passes all those splendid sceneries. It's also packed with Leica lens, 3.6 optical zoom and 7.2 mega-pixels. Plus, it's quite easy to use and I think mum picked up the usage fairly well. And of course, dear is also using the same model and same colour. Really love the matt finishing...

I seriously think that our local variety shows are getting a lil monotonous. Should perhaps buy this game from Japan.

It's the Human Tetris game. Damn funny! Watch and laugh!
