637. happy mothers' day

Rant of the day:

Happy Mothers' Day too all mothers in the world! It's a day worth remembering. A day dedicated to all the mothers for their love and care.

Since it's a special day, brought my mum to Waraku for delicious and quality Japanese food. We rarely take photos together. From left - me, mother and brother.

Dear had sort of became part of the family. Believe it or not, mum treats both dear and Kelly(brother's girlfriend) as her own daughters. Kelly wasn't here at dinner today. Think she's also celebrating Mothers' Day at home.

Ordered 2 set meals and 1 sukiyaki plus a mackrel and the entire table was filled with food. Their serving seriously is huge! Best suited for hungry peps.

Went to Andersons for ice-cream after meal. Think it is mum's first time to chocolate fondue. She simply loves it.

Mum rescued a baby mynah a few days back but unfortunately, it didn't survived and passed away yesterday. A lil sad actually... The baby mynah sort of fell off it's nest at Ang Mo Kio MRT and landed on the walkways. As the station is never quiet, it's in high danger of being stepped on. So, it started "flying" around but at terribly low heights, hitting into escalators and walls. So mum quickly grabbed it to prevent further injuries.

But sadly, it didn't make it even though we tried feeding it and nursing it back from its trauma. To the lil mynah, you are missed...
