Rant of the day: I'm melting fast...
Vesak day was a trekking for mother, dear and I. Went all the way to MacRitchie Reservoir in the morning to catch some nice and truely fresh oxygen. We started walking around 9.30am and finally ended the entire thing at about 1pm. Long walk right? It's almost 10km in total! A round of applause for my mum who haven't exercise alot and she's more than 50 years old!
Think most of the aunties out there will be complaining even barely reach halfway mark. My mum didn't even uttered any single complain except the scorching sun when it's closer to the noon.
The wide view of the beautiful nature. I can literally smell the freshness of O2 while snapping this shot.
Worry about your lousy sense of direction? Fret not. The park are filled with precise direction indicators. Next stop, the HSBC Tree Top Walk.
Monkeys are everywhere. Look at that cute monkey! But NEVER feed them else they will get bolder to snatch your food.
Mum and dear crossing an almost fallen tree. Unfortunately, I have to bend slightly to cross. Thanks to my height.
Guess what's this? Yes! A 1-inch long ant! Gross...
Finally, we'd reached the start point of the tree top suspension bridge after a long 4.4km trek. Here I am, posing with the history board.
The suspension bridge is about 250m long and it sways a lil as you cross. Perfect view among the tree top.
We seldom see butterflys around and prolly due to lack of colourful flowers or could it be these caterpillars are yet to mature?
Those patches of black stuff you see are birds' nests! It's like a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
Before we end the trek, passed this small stream of clear water. Wonder if the water is clean...
Till the next trekking trip!
