Quote of the day: Haste makes waste. -- Benjamin Chia
Philanthropic, a big word for many. Phil means love. Anthropic comes from the word Anthropoid and in biology, means study of human or mankind. Therefore, philanthropic means something like love for Man.
In short, "for the love of Man". Same phrase but stirs totally different emotions if said by different people.
Let's say a priest says, "... for the love of Man..." Now that sounds absolutely noble. Some might even think that the priest is definitely a character to learn from.
Now, try a woman in her late-twenties or mid-thirties who says, "... for the love of Man..." Same feeling? Not to me. Sounds like a horny pussy to me.
Try on a woman in late-forties, probably married says, "... for the love of Man..." Wow! A successful marriage to a loving hubby I suppose.
Now, what about a normal average man who says, "... for the love of Man..." He's gay! I seriously don't think he is just a normal average man. Haha...
Same phrase but totally different meanings when coming out from different people's mouth. Just some food for thought...
Anyway, a new addition to my boring office desk. Sort of lightened up my work space!
A new mini air purifier! Comes with blue light. After all the TB and HFMD thingy "floating" around the office air, everyone starts to get aware not to take our health for granted. But the mini air purifier is prolly not able to do anything much except "vomiting" nice scent every morning.
So, please take care of your health. It's something not money can buy off the shelf. Medication does not count as "buying" health if you realised. It only make you feel better...
