1000. black monday... totally evil...
WAH!!! My 1000th post!!! Huat ah!!! Haha...
It's hell today.
Monday = Monday blues.
30 November = Last day of the month for monthly reporting.
Today = First working day after long weekend and alot of people on leave.
Hell!!! And when nothing turns out right since morning, it seriously doesn't make my day any better. Conducting the morning class and the projector failed. No colour. After the AV technician came down to replace, the class was already delayed for about 15min. And the replaced set is STILL not working in the way it should be!!!
After that, tried to complete the monthly report but most updates from the other team is not ready even till the point I left office!!!
Lunch was no better. The yong tau foo lady cannot remember what I wanted and kept asking me again and again!!!
Walking to the lift during teabreak and of no apparent reason, hit my right shoulder into the wall... =(
And not only that, LS-ed 3 times since morning!!!
What fuck?!?! This is totally black and evil man!!!
Anyway, just a special thanks to the project groups members for the initiative when I'm not readily available on the Wiki project. It's good to see team work in play by most of the members. Was telling JJ that finally someone (himself) truely understood my pain that I'd gone through for almost the past 2 years. Hahaha...
But wait... The Wiki project is not completed yet. There is this group evaluation on another Wiki post due coming Saturday. This Saturday also have a few activities on the line. Early morning will be IRAS prawning. Sorta signed up to enjoy activities beyond work in office. And I know dear will love to go as well. Think after that will meet up Angela to go to the dog farm.
Coming up for almost all weekends in December, my schedule is more or less booked. Can't wait for Taiwan trip!!! Here I come~~~

999. something wrong
Rant of the day:
Yes... 999th post and I'm literally screaming out for help on the Wiki project. Everything is done left with the publishing and I'm having problem since afternoon. No problem on the logging in to the online blackboard. But everytime I post, the page error was shown!!! It took me a LONG while to format it correctly but in the end, it failed me.
*pissed*
Anyway, got Nykole to help me publish tomorrow. Hope everything will be fine...
Have you watched New Moon? Seriously... IT SUCKS BIG TIME!!! And this is coming out from a non-Twilight saga reader. Perhaps too much expectation after the first episode and this one, too much talking and too lil action. Alot of parts does not seemed to link up. Alot of parts were covered too briefly. Alot of parts were overly featured. Alot of parts doesn't make sense.
Till now, I still couldn't understand why 5 werewolves cannot win 1 female vampire? If 5 werewolves cannot win 1 female vampire, then why didn't she kill them? And why there is a need for slow motion on Alice vision of Bella's future? Why does Emily's badly scratched face looked more burnt face? And seriously, the ending is way too abrupt. Most of the viewers were like "huh?" when the movie SUDDENLY came to an end and the lights came up.
Totally shingz...
The long weekend seem so short... *sigh*

998. iphone reservation
Rant of the day: I'm running on serious sleep debt...
Finally, the day is coming... The end of Singtel monopoly of the Apple iPhone as the sole distributor in Singapore! M1 and Starhub are now opening the to masses for reservation. The iPhones should be available in December next month! So place your reservation now!!!
For M1 supporters, click here.
For Starhub supporters, click here.
But there are no news to the phone and subscription prices yet. Hopefully it wouldn't be expensive.
Anyway, the long weekend doesn't seem exceptionally long to me. Had been doing the Wiki project but should be done by tonight... I hope...
Something I felt very unfair about and needed a place to shout.
I'm paying $80 per month for the family car fuel but yet I'm not even using for $10 worth of mileage!!! My brother pays $150 per month for the fuel but he uses more than $200 worth of mileage and I cannot really make noise about it. He drives his gal home almost every night. He drives the car out to town for pool almost every night. He drives out and chill with his friends. And what about me? I rarely have the chance to use it, and not even on weekends!!! In my opinion, he should be paying $200 per month and me, $50 and this had also exceeded my own monthly usage.
Mum is always defensive for him. "Don't be calculative..." she always says. But it's out of my pocket for things I don't use!!! It's always about him and his upcoming studies in UniSIM and all those crap about him paying school fees. No money no money... No money then don't use the car that often lah!!! No money then start a PROPER financial plan lah!!!
I suggested a mileage log book but she claims no need to go to that extend. Then what's fair to me? I'm your son too!!! I've got my own commitments too!!! So what if I'd finish paying all my school fees? So what? I don't need to save for my marriage? I don't need to save for my future?
Fucking hell!!!
I sorta gave up discussing about this with mum anymore. No point. Should had seen it coming when they decided to get a family car. I shouldn't take part in it AT ALL... Now I truely regret...
I need a car of MY OWN and no one else fucking use it except me!!! Looking for kind soul(s) to sponsor. Anyone?

997. something wrong
Rant of the day: The paper is soooooooo tough!!!
I am not sure why but there is seriously something wrong with my hotmail account. I cannot read nor delete any emails lah gawd dammit!!! And I need to send an email to all my project members now!!! ROAR!!!
It's a week with 3 work days for me and I can't wait!!! Woohoo~~~
Wait... I've still got a Wiki project to complete by 1 December. Shucks.

996. massage
Word of the day: Ginormous, that's giant + enourmous or extremely huge. Heard this word from a kid no older than 6 years old!!! But I'm hearing it for the first time!!!
I thought there might be something wrong with my speakers. I keep hearing "zzzzzzz" sound. After unplugging some of the USB ports, realised it's actually the laptop fan underneath. So noisy... Maybe it's sleepy? Hahaha...
Dear treated me to a massage session at the Civil Service Club as a after study treat.
A cup of ginger tea before the session starts.
Cheers! The ginger taste better in Bintan. Here, it's really only ginger. Can't taste any sugar in it. Maybe because they wanna make it healthier?
Waiting for my turn. We sort of booked late and have to use the individual rooms. If bookings are made earlier, we can share the same room and probably use the jacuzzi as well...
Didn't take any pictures when I'm doing the massage. Duh... But after the massage, have a complimentary dessert. It's burbur hitam (black glutinous rice dessert)!!! I like!!! And it has no coconut milk in it!!! I like!!!
The massage was ok. Somewhat similar to those I had tried in Bintan. But what I like about this place is the environment. Comfortable. Cosy. And definitely, it comes with a hefty price of $180 for about an hour. Ouch!!! But we had it for only $18 each 'cause dear have this complimentary trial session offer from her office. Not bad sia. 90% discount!!! Hahaha...
Love you dear! Muacks!
I'm having alot of white hair. Hate it. Need to get them dyed before going Taiwan for countdown at the end of the year. I wanna be "picture perfect". Hahaha... =P

995. please press one... now...
Rant of the day: Cool early morning made it dreadful to wake up...
Watch this now...
"Please press 1... Now..."
Doesn't it reflects the customer helpline in these days? Transfer here and there. One stop service is not exactly possible actually. Probably something that was caused by the ISO... Set in place procedures and standards in the company, gateways will be created.
Presentation in a while I hope... Wish me luck...

994. in response...
Rant of the day: Test on Monday... Sucks...
In response to some queries to post 992, the person is NOT Nykole. No need to guess eiither as the name will not be publish here in relation to the post. This is to protect the innocent affected.
Anyway, new song by one of my favourite Korean group, 2PM. Here's Heartbeat.
Find this MV a lil "dark". Not sure why but perhaps that's what the director wanted maybe? So, listen to my heartbeat...

993. tough decision
Rant of the day: I've got wrinkles... Lotsa it!!!
Saw this in an email circulation in office. Read and think... If you are in the scenario, what will you do?
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track.
The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed.
Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make................
Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess.
Exactly, to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.
But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place? Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was.
This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens.
If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe.
If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.
While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.
Remember that what's right isn't always popular... and what's popular isn't always right.
How true can it be right? So, what will you do now? This is why I hate to be a decision maker and in my job, I need to make ethical decisions almost every single day.
*sigh*
It's hard to please everyone. Really...

992. an unexpected proposal
Quote of the day: Holly... Bolly... Bolly... Holly... Different wood... same dream...
The verbal proposal came unexpectedly. I wouldn't term it as indecent but it is indeed hard to understand where she's coming from. She knew deep in her heart that we cannot work together, so why suddenly asked to join the group? I mean have have no issue with her as a person, a classmate and of course, a friend. She is a nice lady with really warm smiles but not as co-worker. Things definitely will not work out.
S, B and I were discussing (bitching rather) on what are the possibilities of such weird proposal and we sorta came up with a few explanations:
1) She wanna bury the hatchet (but we weren't enemies to start with!!!)
2) She have issues with her teamsssssss style
3) Others having issues with her working style
1) She wanna bury the hatchet (but we weren't enemies to start with!!!)
2) She have issues with her teamsssssss style
3) Others having issues with her working style
Probably 2 and 3. Probably because of the way we worked and that could be the reason why we could not see eye to eye with one another's ideas but we tried (at least I tried) to keep everything professional. Nothing personal seriously. Work is work.
Anyway, I did mentioned to S that I might change group in the last module. Not sure if she still remembers. Hahahaha. So, the lady's request might just come true next module (without me of course). Hahahaha... And she wouldn't have any issues with my ideas as well. Perfect right? Hahahaha...
Splitting up and a change of environment might sometimes be good. A chance for exposure to more working styles. A chance to listen to more kinda ideas we probably will not see it on an individual perspective. And probably a chance to know not to take things for granted and be complacent about the surroundings.
But I had been hearing things and feeling negative emotions against me in class when I talk to people... Who doesn't in some way or another right? Unless you are super popular in class lah. Hahaha... Unlikely... Everyone has our own flaws. No one is perfect but don't use this as an excuse to skiv. Neither is the word "busy". Who is not? I really hate it when people use this word and happily not involve in anything. When you are doing group work, you are not only answerable for yourself, but also the other group members as well.
Not selling myself but I'm not exactly a hard person to work with honestly. I would rather to work in groups with heavy discussions that are constructive and suggestive. So for those who are reading my blog and have been listening to rumours about my character and the way I work, seriously, if you believe every single shit, I think you are damn messed up. Nothing is for real until you experience it yourself. If it took you soooooo long and only to realise it now or even later, damn, it's time for some serious reflection!!!
'Nuff said. Just wanna rant off some things off my mind. But also, appreciate all those whom had been defending me when someone talks bad about me. Thank you!!! And to those whom had been speaking ill of me, hope you studied communication law and don't land yourself into a libel or slander case.
I feel a lil lighter already!!!
Nights peeps =)

991. just some updates
Rant of the day: Rain rain go away...
Haven't been blogging here for a few days. Lazy, yes. Tired, maybe. And perhaps all the blogging "urges" are vented on the class blog. We need to publish 3 posts each for assessment. Crappy but something different from the norm. No more written assignments to be handed over in hardcopies. Fantastic isn't it?
Something mushy... 4 days not meeting dear kills. Monday, class. Tuesday, class. Wednesday, poly class gathering. Thursday, class. We are left with Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday. Having class from morning till evening on Saturdays. Sucks big time.
Anyway, find this module an interesting one. Final 2 modules and I'm done with it! Yeah!!! ^^v
Dear sort of found this emcee job for me on next Saturday. Things ain't finalised but from the brief description of the guest, I'm not exactly confident of taking up the task... even if it pays well. I don't wanna risk my mass comm future for blunders made. It will be a chance for experience and exposure but will it also be the first and last? I don't exactly got the experience to emcee for shows. The one I'd done for wedding and one for company event ain't enough.
Oh well... We'll see. Probably hearing that I've got no experience, they'll not even consider me for the job.
Gotta catch Paranormal Activities this Sunday!!! Woohoo~~~

990. school rants
Rant of the day: I'm pretty lost in Wordpress interface actually...
I hate "getting into groups" for group assignments. I really hate it. If I am given the option to choose, I'll of course get into my preferred group. But sometimes, choices are hard to decide isn't it? Perhaps I just don't have the courage to stand up and step out for myself. Or perhaps, I just don't wanna make things difficult for others. I don't wanna be the subject where peeps say I'm autocratic anymore.
*sigh*
Life is hard isn't it? That's probably the reason why I prefer to work on individual assignments instead. Even though it's tiring but at least I'm pretty much spared from gossips, hatred and freeloaders.
Done some calculation in office earlier and realised my current GPA is about 2.89 something something. And I will need 1 distinction and 2 high distinctions in order to graduate with a distinction degree (no honours programme for my degree and this is sorta replacement). It's hard to get that remaining 3 grades ok. Practically, almost impossible for me. Gonna try though. At least I'd tried. I've already done alot better than what I had previously during my poly days hor!!!
Shifting away from the above rants, dear is sick again. Flu bug seems to love her this year. Shoo shoo! Go away you bugger!!! Stop infecting my gal!!! ROAR!!! Hope she get well soon. But I think I ain't any better as well. Been sneezing on and off throughout the day. Darn! Drink water...
*sigh*

989. today
Rant of the day: 孝子或恋人,如何选择???
I'm not exactly sure why but today ain't the best weekend. Just whacked the hell out of Deric. He had been peeing at all the wrong places and seriously, dog's pee smells damn freaking bad!!! If you don't clean it up on time, it's gonna stink up the whole house.
You wouldn't wanna see how I hit my dog. It's scary...
*sigh*
Was telling dear how fortunate some peeps are. Sometimes, we just need to be borned into the right family and have that silver spoon in the mouth. What you want, you got it. Money. Cash. Food. Freedom. Girls. Car. People like me gotta work damn fucking hard to just have enough to spare while some others just let their mouth do the job -- say what they want. Not giving a blowjob you dirty ass...
*sigh*
When I reincarnate in my next life, I hope that I can be borned into such homes. If I want to study, just say it. If I want a nice place to stay, just say it. If I want cash, just say it. If I want a car, just say it. Just use the mouth... and say it... Don't need to work so hard.
On a lighter note, it's less than 2 months time to my Taiwan trip!!! At least I'm proud to say that I finance myself for my own stuff. Hahaha... Ain't cheap to travel but managed to plan and save enough for everything in this trip. I'm taking SQ ok!!! Not those chup-pa-lang airways hor!!! Mai siao siao...
Time to start preparing the list of items to buy for the trip. I've already got my down feather jacket. Need to check if my house got a luggage bag big enough for my trip. And, locks as well... Toiletries??? Medication??? Oh. Gotta remember to buy ginger tea mix as well. It's winter at Taiwan. Not snowing though but it's definitely much much colder than Singapore.
Can't wait for the trip. It's countdown at Taipei 101. Woohoo~~~
Can't wait for the trip. It's countdown at Taipei 101. Woohoo~~~
Saw this funny clip in Facebook and should share with everyone. The difference between male and female orgasm.
Hahahahahaha... Some parts are indeed quite true. Hahahahahahaha...

988. wet thursday
Rant of the day: Office freezing cold lah!!!
It's a super wet Thursday. Been raining cats and dogs since morning and weather outside is soooooo cooling. But somehow, it doesn't feel as cool in my bedroom. I hope it will not be so wet tomorrow. It's Friday!!! Please, keep it dry...
Falling sick and had been sneezing since morning. Probably caused by the change in climate. I'm not the only one sneezing actually. There're like another 3 - 4 staff sneezing as well!!! Great... The flu is back but was saved by Clarinase. I can't fall sick at this time. It's soooooo busy and if I'm down, the workload will be flooded when I'm back. Can't afford that...
*sigh*
So low morale everytime I look at the mailbox. Managed to clear most of the emails and kept it no more than 25 this morning in the inbox. But after lunch, the inbox had 44 emails!!! Cleared a lil more to about 33 and after I'm back from conducting workshop, it jumped to 60!!! WTF!!! Kill me please!!!
I can't imagine I have to go through this tomorrow again. Sian...

987. wearing out
Rant of the day: Stress~~~
I'm tired... Mentally and physically. I'm wearing out soon...
Mentally tired because the 2 weeks "break" from work ain't helping. Alot more work now!!! Because one is on leave for roughly 2 weeks since last week and another will be on leave for 2 weeks. All having exams. Shucks. Exam month. Good luck to Joanne and Hasanah anyway.

Physically tired because I had been working out 3 times a week. Vigorously!!! Gym twice on weekdays and swim on either Saturday or Sunday. Desperately hoping that I can just lose that few more kilos. Fat lah!!! Wanna look better in clothes, especially when I'm at Taiwan this coming December. My jacket is so thick that if I'm fat, I'll look even fatter with the jacket on. Have to push push push...
*sigh*
Like this song by 张惠妹(阿密特) titled 彩虹(Rainbow).
She's splendid isn't she? Love her vocals. Damn powerful. And I love her new image. That white locks. Totally cool lah!!!

986. supermassive black hole
News of the day: Got anther emcee assignment for another office function. So now I'm the "official" emcee for the division???
I know it's a bit outdated but I really super like this song by Muse lah... It's Supermassive Black Hole people!!!
Oh baby don't you know I suffer?
Oh baby can you hear me moan?
You caught me under false pretences
How long before you let me go?
Oooo... You set my soul alight
Oooo... You set my soul alight
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(You set my soul)
I thought I was a fool for no one
Oh baby I'm a fool for you
You're the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth
Oooo... You set my soul alight
Oooo... You set my soul alight
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(You set my soul)
Supermassive black hole

985. 1... 2... 3...
Rant of the day: Very full~~~
It's Britney and her new single, 3!!! Gawd... She's sooooooo hawt!!!
When will she release the next one? It's seems like after all her sex and drugs drama, she is slowly getting back on track. Probably for her kids...

984. halloween night
Rant of the day: I'm super broke now...
It's been quite a while since I'd last visited Marche @ Vivocity. Seriously love the food there. Went back with dear on Saturday evening before going for Halloween party.
The weather ain't promising and we were pretty drenched when we were queueing. My attempt to capture the lightning on my Omnia failed after several tries. The rain didn't make the crowd budge even a lil. Everyone just crowded even closer to get some warmth and hoping peeps inside quickly finish their bite.
Good thing about only having 2 peeps -- get your seat faster. Hahaha... We almost got our seats immediately the moment we stepped into Marche and notifying the staff that we have only 2 of us. Bleah. Got the seats. Put our stuff down. Grab the Marche cards. Off to order!!! It's munching time!!!
Order a Spanish Paelle (seafood rice with prawns, chicken and loads of green pepper). Then, our favourite dish of mixed vegetables, mainly mushrooms and baby potatoes. And not forgetting the catch-of-the-day, Brown Garoupa with Pumpkin and Mashed Potato. This is seriously good stuff. It's my first time eating pumpkin mashed with potato and it's damn good lah!!! Very thirsty after the long queue. Ordered the lemongrass green apple tea. Shiok!!! And to end off the dinner, a delicious fruit pie filled with strawberries and grapes.
Sedap...
But of course, it's not exactly cheap lah. Good food comes with a price. Hahaha... Just a simple meal like this cost almost $50. Ouch!!! But considering all the good food we had, it's worth it (once in a while of course).
Halloween party last night was... well... pretty fun but it could have been alot better. Now I fully understand why most of my friends don't go clubbing with their gf. Shan't talk about it too much. I'm pretty sure for those whom are attached and goes clubbing with their gf will know what I meant.
We were originally planning to go crazy at Butter Factory but the queue was horrendous!!! And the worse thing was, they do not have a designated queue for those paying clubbers not opting for the free entry with costumes!!! This is totally fuck up. I'm paying to go in mind you. I'm not going in for free. Why let us queue and wait with all other "monsters" in the line??? Makes no sense at all. Reason why Zouk's management plans and serves better for those who are prepared to PAY money for entry.
Kevin suggested to go SOHO (Social House) at Liang Court.
There wasn't any queue to talk about! So happy! Like what Kevin said, the crowd probably went to try their luck at the larger clubs like Zouk, Zirca and Rebel.
In my attempt to look a lil more like vampire or Garra (a character from Naruto anime), I drew eye-liner if you realised... and it's a freaking painful experience lah!!! Dear tried drawing for me when we were still at Vivocity queueing for cab down to Fullerton. And there times where my eyes almost got poked!!! But dear had been really gentle. Unlike Arina, when she continue to draw it blacker and thicker, she literally drew like she's sketching on drawing board lah!!!
I probably might not draw this eye-liner thingy again. Because I look like those Changi bah-pok (gay) instead of vampire lah...
Dear is soooooooo fair that she already look like a vampire when my Omnia flashes during photo-taking. She's the delicious vampire ready to take blood from any guy who tries to touch her. Hahahahaha... You know,Jennifer's YaYa's Body...
Growl~~~
Here's Kevin and Arina.
He likes his white hat I realised. What's with that cheeking smile, Kevin? Yes, I know your hat very nice. You lack that ultra curly hair else, you look like MJ.
Something I like about SOHO is that they've got fantastic deco and dance poles in the centre of the dancefloor!!! The early of the night started really slow. The crowd were soooooo quiet and boring. But we had fun enjoying peeps and the poles. Here's some pictures...
The nice and beautiful to one pole and the scary to another one please.
From the above photo, the white and fat "dead" bride was calling out to her another "dead" friend, who decided to look for a "larger" pole that suits her size.
So size do matter actually...
The club actually got alot more happening as the night goes late. The dancefloor was crowded!!! But, sad to say, we left early... Will go back again some day but probably, not with gangs that brings gf. I don't wanna waste $30 again...
Come to think about it, I don't have many friends that still club nowadays. Sad...
You know,
